Yeah, this show is so good. I can completely understand you getting hooked. There's something so satisfying about finding a series that just keeps making you want to hit "next episode," and WandaVision absolutely does that. I won't say "I told you so"... but on behalf of the many people who recommended this show... I told you so. 😂 Everything is starting to unravel now, and it's so much fun watching you piece things together. You've got a really good rhythm going with the three-episode batches too. Only three episodes left, so you'll be wrapping it up next time. Also, I have to correct myself from my last comment. I said Episode 3 reminded me of Full House, but I mixed them up. Episode 3 was much more The Brady Bunch, and Full House was in this batch. My sitcom knowledge clearly isn't as good as I thought! Can't wait for the final three episodes. And if you're chasing that same "just one more episode" feeling afterwards, I think Loki Season 2 will definitely scratch that itch.

With only 3 episodes left, get ready for the finale E cause NGL, it has the potential to match Endgame in terms of tear-extraction...or at least that was the case for me the first time around. 🤓😅

So glad to see this, and super glad you're doing multiple episodes a watch, they're pretty short individually so it works great. But man, I remember watching this way back, having to wait a week per cliffhanger, such pain!

Much like Loki there is a post-credit scene in a couple of the next episodes you'll watch. Just a heads up.

Fun factoid, when in episode 4 when Wanda pushed Monica through 3 walls and the edge of the hex it's a reference to her "breaking the 4th wall" where Monica breaks through from the fictional world to the real world.

one of the things that I love most about WandaVision is it feels like Marvel at it's best firing on all cylinders to do something unique and creative while telling a good story. This show had a stranglehold on the fandom prompting community driven theory discussions week to week obsessively lol.

Brother! Just want to state for the record that Eralia's Marvel reactions are my favorite. Marvel fanatics' passion can be contagious and they re a joy (for the most part), I'm borderline myself. It does bother me when their helpful recommendations in these comments devolve into hardline mandates - as in you've ruined the watching experience to not see a certain show or movie in this order. I think it's absolutely worthwhile to make those rec's but it doesn't ruin the experience nearly as much as some are saying to not follow the canon order of the timeline. Please stop giving her a hard time about it, just continue gently advocating if you feel strongly. I personally think it's a bit overrated, she can still have a wonderful experience. Similarly, the disappointment over not recognizing a character, reference, etc from a prior movie - and I understand that sometimes commenters fully appreciate what Eralia is doing without trying to criticize. Still, just want to reiterate, let's show some grace for her not knowing every reference (that is obvious to us as marvel nerds) and show some gratitude for giving us an exceptional reaction. Thank you Eralia! It's been awesome re-experiencing this series especially as you can't help yourself from rolling through multiple episodes in a sitting!

You did not recognize Pietro/Quicksilver (Wanda's brother) because it's a cameo. Evan Peters played Quicksilver in the X-Men movies for a few years. If you eventually get to Avengers Doomsday or Deadpool 3, you'll probably need to watch a few X-Men movies to understand the cameos. I would recommend watching X2 and Days of the Future Past because they are going to be very important for these movies. anyways I loved this watch-along :D

Evan Peters playing Pietro is a meta joke because he played a different version of the same character (Quicksilver) in the X-Men movies.

The worst part for me was transcribing logbooks after a flight and Maintenance records, we had laptop log books but still had to use paper ones why? Military redundancy ofc!

Loki and Wanda are opportunities to go high-concept in ways that couldn't work in 90 minute movies that need to make sense for wider audiences. They really did have fun with these!!

Non-spoilery trivia: The guy playing Pietro was the one who played him in the X-Men movies. It's not an in-canon spoiler, unless you count it as a "multiverse" thing.

Looking forward to you getting ready for the next stage of the MCU by checking out the older Marvel movies. Some of the pre-MCU stuff will have you perching and jumping until you run out of those and look for the old school characters in the new MCU and someone has to peel you off the ceiling. It would likely help you to see Blackwidow and then Hawkeye next for context.
