Season 2, slow start, but the finish is arguably just as good, if not better than the first avengers movie and endgame and ties it all together. Glorious purpose.
Fyi season 2 is a direct continuation of season 1 and can and probably better if watched right after before you forget everything that has happened during season 1 because there are a lot of important details here that will come up again and you won't know what they meant. Also season is even more complicated. Also I've seen most marvel shows except all the shield, falcon and winter soldier and agatha, but from the rest I can definitely say Loki is the MOST important for the future events plus it's kinda canon now that he does something (no spoilers) that will inevitably tie into the doomsday somehow or secret wars. WandaVision would be good before watching Dr Strange In the Multiverse of Madness, Daredevil is nice to see before No Way Home just for the Murdock's (Charlie Cox) appearance at least but probably not necessary.
I think the TVA, the Void, the Citidel exist outside of time. I could almost see your gears turning trying to figure it out, you have to watch Season 2 to understand it better and seeing how it will tie into the MCU multiverse. Not sure if you want to read about it but there was also a shift in the MCU’s direction after the main actor playing the character known as He Who Remains in this Season got in trouble with the law. They went from the Kang Dynasty, which you’ll see in Ant-Man 3, to the Multiverse saga. Sorry for the long note, so much for you to see yet. 😊
He Who Remains and his other more powerful variants were meant to be the next big bad like Thanos. The actor got into some legal trouble so they've pivoted away from that but all of this is still VERY important as you'll see in Season 2 but there's other stuff to see with other characters first.
These shows were made after Endgame. Specifically this is the 3rd Show when you go in order
Yay, we made it to the end of Season 1! "...and then also there's an alligator" absolutely sent me. 😂 Honestly, this episode leaves so much open and unanswered. I obviously don't want to tell you what to watch, but I'd definitely recommend carrying straight on into Season 2 while everything is still fresh. Loki was essentially made as a complete story across two seasons. It isn't one of those shows that leaves you hanging forever waiting for more seasons that never come. It reaches a proper conclusion, wraps up Loki's story beautifully, and is absolutely worth seeing through to the end. And for what it's worth, you won't spoil anything by continuing on. Also, that line: "You can't trust, and I can't be trusted." Damn. That hits. Really loving these reactions, and as always I'm excited to see where you go from here.
Such a great and curious ending.. Season 2 is 1000% sooo satisfying to watch after this cliffhanger.
For me the most fascinating part of the episode was when He Who Remains reaches a specific moment at the end of time where he doesn't know what happens next. Because as much as they and others might resent the idea of someone pulling the strings and orchestrating it, it's even more unnerving to think that the one 'in charge' doesn't really know where it's all leading. Also, why create this particular timeline if it arguably leads to the existence of Pre-Endgame Loki and Sylvie? After all, his 'sacred timeline' included the Avengers going back and time and doing things that allowed Loki to 'variant off.'
While there is no doubt that others would also invent or discover multiversal travel, they never get the opportunity because the end result of multiversal travel arrives before they would ever get the chance. The FIRST person to discover it, becomes the ONLY one to discover it.
I'm so excited for you to watch Black Widow and see you smash the Russian accents lol
😁
welp season 2 is on its way lol. plz dont forget wanda vision and hawkeye too!!! wanda vision has a lot of implications on the MCU as a whole as well.
This is my favorite MCU project... this and season 2. Unfortunately, you are a good way away from that... it slots in after Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania. Still... the work they've done with Loki... _will_ do with Loki through this all is... peak Marvel. Just as a heads up: He Who Remains was _meant_ to be the next big-bad of the MCU. Unfortunately, his actor, Jonathan Majors, wound up... in some very significant legal trouble, and the MCU has had to rework a lot of those plans. Minus Majors. Still, you'll see him a few more times before that shift. VERY excited to continue this journey with you!
You can definitely jump right into season 2. It remains a self-contained story that I liked even more than season 1
Also Loki is one of my favourite characters in MARVEL. THIS SERIES IS PEAK CINEMA especially season 2.
s2 finale is one of my favorite marvel moments ever. i'm so hyped!
hey Eralia, just wanna take a moment and let you know that I recently discovered your channel. I am also watching MCU and I went on YouTube to watch other people’s reaction and I found your channel. Honestly I love your videos and reactions, I literally finished almost every major marvel movie with you and I am on Loki at the moment. It is so fun watching with you. I also watched your whole playthrough of Detroit become human, it was amazing. YOU ARE GREAT ✨
She is going to really start wondering what is going on when she hits season 2...
Behold the new Thanos in a sense 🤓😅 if Thor and Loki are gods, witness the True devil. 😈🤣 Here's to your ongoing Marvel adventures E! 💚
LOVE this series! What many people miss about it is that by removing He Who Remains, it allows the multiverse to be accessible from the main timeline and will be introduced in a few places in the upcoming MCU stories.
I love a good couplet. "You can't trust". "And I can't be trusted". It makes me think of, "Kang is dead..." "Long live Kang". Seriously one of the coolest panels in all of comics if you're invested in his story. Dude is the ultimate romantic. I'm glad the MCU didn't try to re-create the magic of that story, though. As much as I love the books, I think these movies and shows are better off when they're informed by the comics, but still doing their own thing. If Infinity War had been a straight-up adaptation of The Infinity Gauntlet, I'm pretty sure it would have been one of the dumbest movies ever.
So many answers, so many new questions. Season 2 has to happen at one point. <3
Season 2 came out much later on, like during phase 5 but you can watch it immediate after season 1. Itd be crazy if that wasnt the case
You’re asking the right questions. You understand the consequences
Whole episodes a yap session but still peak
Gotta do Ant-Man Quantomania. You'll get some answers? Maybe? Maybe more questions? No spoilers.
Ehhhhh I love Loki, Jonathan Majors' performance as Kang, and the other Ant-Man movies.... but she can absolutely skip the disaster that was Quantumania.
I just know youre gonna love wandavision when you get to that
There was a point at the very start where they added a line with all the other Hero quotes, one was from Wanda Vision. its not super important. But.... maybe that will be the next watch? Also love the channel! You are awesome!
Thanks for all you do, it's really great to see you enjoying the Marvel universe so much. 🫶
