The ideal mosh pit experience is riding the rim. Pure chaos on one side. Control and escape on the other. Sure, I may be a pussy, but at least I wasn't unmaliciously knocked unconscious and trampled by inebriated strangers to their realization 37 minutes after my vital systems ceased to function.

I tried way harder than I should have to sync your video to the OG music video multiple times on my other monitor and I experienced such extraneous mental trauma that to this day, I still don't know if I had an aneurism, stroke, Rapid Onset Brain Cancer, a hematoma, concussion, or was simply headbanging too hard.

As you researched and are somewhat aware of, this concert specifically took place on Sept 28, 1991. The Iron Curtain fell in 1989. Mikhail Gorbachev resigned Christmas day in 1991. The USSR was formally dissolved on December 8th/26th, 1991. This wasn't just a badass concert. This was America/The beginning of global democracy taking a victory lap. The venue was a USSR military airfield that began (with this concert) gradually fading into obscurity and repurpose throughout the 90s. We were quite literally stomping on their grave. People don't realize how significant even a single American flag being waved in this crowd was. Metallica, AD/DC, and Pantera were all flown in and out via helicopter for this. The number of tickets for the venue was capped at 500k, but there were so many people and such an uncontrollable mob, that they just started letting people in for free. Most estimates range between the sold out and verifiable number of 500k to over 1.5 million individual bodies in the crowd. They had absolutely no way of actually accurately knowing how many people attended... Modern society will collapse before anything like this is ever experienced by our species again. Sadly, I was -2 years old.

Hybrid Theory. Meteora. Chester. My first tattoo was their lyrics on my ribs. I now have his face on my deltoid and and am finally starting my sleeve that I've dreamt of for over a decade. Nothing else to say. Have a fun journey.

re commenting just incase your taking recommendations ( even if its in your free time doesn't have to be a reaction I just want to share great music) but (Dire straits - Sultans of swing live at alchemy) and (Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4 live at tanglewood 1970) are in my opinion 2 of the greatest live performances ever and are even better than the studio versions, based off how you react so positively to great music in movies I know you will love these !!

I think you would quite like Twenty One Pilots, most of their tracks are about mental health and I think you would appreciate their lyricism and the switches in genre. Love your Watch-Along videos btw, my only membership on here (yes, you might be pwetty special S2).

Classic Metallica can't be beat. If you like this, you really need to check out One by Metallica as well

That was not a confederate flag it was a Klu Klux Klan flag. There were 3 separate confederate flags in a period of less than 2 years the Klan flag was patterned after the confederate army of Tennessee's battle standard because the founder was the general in charge of that unit during the civil war.

Never thought I'd say this. But... First!
