Loki Season 1 Ep 2 Watch-Along

I love Loki but I think the two best series were wandavision and Hawkeye.

Absolutely elated watching these first two Loki reaction videos, and I'm confident that Eralia will love it significantly more by the end. Also, so impressed and exciting to witness her early read - "how do we know it's a him?" One question for you Eralia if you happen to see this, since I didn't notice a reaction in the first ep when Owen Wilson showed up. Were you familiar with him previously? (eg Zoolander, Wedding Crashers, Wes Anderson movies, etc). The casting of Owen Wilson out of left field (for Marvel) definitely contributed to the joy I experienced first watching Loki.

Brace yourself down the line for she who is Lady Loki or as she prefers to be addressed, Sylvie. 🤓😅 We're entering the endgame folks! 🤣😅

I forgot how quickly this show moves. Before you know it, you’re halfway through it 😄 Definitely make sure you go straight through both seasons when you get there though — it’s only 6 episodes each, and Season 2 really brings Loki’s story together beautifully. As a fantasy/DnD nerd, Loki explaining the difference between illusion projection and duplication casting scratched a very specific part of my brain 😂 Such a fun little moment. And once again, your predictions are ridiculously on point. The early “how do we know it’s a him?” comment, immediately picking up on the exact flaw in the TVA’s thinking. You’re so good at catching those little setup moments before the reveal.

Since you are appreciating the score so much, I would like to warn you that it gets even better! I'd say that goes for both seasons; especially regarding the variations on the theme. It's so tasteful how they play with it.

anyone else have difficulty syncing video? disney+'s stupid timestamp counts all the skip stuff as well. pretty pretty please in the future sprinkle a few frames of the show throughout :)

Dont forget this Loki technically didn't experience anything we have seen after Avengers 2012. This was his first time discovering about Ragnarok happening. By taking the teseract he became a variant and is now basically a different character than the one we knew who got killed by Thanos

I love this show... season 1 is great, but season 2 is on another level entirely. Unfortunately, it'll be a while before you get to that one. Still, I'm looking forward to you continuing on with the MCU, the shows included! Wandavision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier... so much to look forward to! I remember watching these episodes as they were coming out... one week at a time. OH boy, that was such a rollercoaster, having to wait to watch it with my buddies remotely every time... ahh, lockdown...

I remember being so confused the first time I watched this. (This is only my second time.) Oddly enough, some things still confuse me despite having seen through the end of season two. I can't remember what "bombing the Sacred Timeline" was all about in terms of actual ramifications. (That's not a spoiler, it just means my memory sucks and SO much happens, lol.)

Love your reactions to this, I'm still excited for you to see Black Widow!

Need more Mobius (Owen Wilson) -> The Royal Tenenbaums & Zoolander

This show is a movie lol

The best part of this and other shows will weave into the newer MCU along with the older movies in ways you can not yet imagine and when that happens make you laugh so hard you will cry. As for the girl in the church from the time period that should have been Joan of Arc...

Each episode of this season has such a distinctive identity. Can't wait to have time for this!

Loki season 1 & 2 were absolutely amazing. Hope you enjoy them as much!

This show moves at a very fast pace. When I first watched this I had to wait a whole week from episode to episode so the anticipation was insane. It introduces so much canon into the MCU Multiverse phase. As always, loved your reaction and you sharing this “For All Time. Always.” 😊

This series is low-key amazing. Just like Loki 😏 The weird retro future Tech, the agency and the "simple" events with unimaginable effect to the overall existence.

you might think this is just a fun spin off... but it ties into SO much more. But it is a fun show. You'll see

It's not as popular, yet Falcon & the Winter Soldier is pretty good & introduces at least one recurring character. Heavy military culture & vet treatment themes.

So I’ve come to realize you’re like a full 12+ hours ahead of me 🙂 I really enjoy waking up to these Happy surprises

Yay
