Cute pouting face 😊 I think you are right, this was better than the first movie, just realized all these years later. Great reaction.! 👏🏽

Love this reaction hahah! Eralia always deliversss!!

Kevin Bartelen · May 11, 2026

This is generally agreed upon as the best Toby Spider-Man movie, and possibly just the best one over all, although all three Tom Holland movies are also up there.

David Castro · May 10, 2026

J. Jonah Jameson's scenes are among the best and funniest in the whole trilogy. I've been surprised to see you like not really react to them across the first 2 movies. Just a thought but overall loved this reaction and always find your perspectives and reflections so insightful. Can't wait for 3 and the rest of the Spider-Man movies!!

Lizard Ahaz · May 10, 2026

If I recall correctly the original music in these movies was done by Danny Elfman the same guy who did the original music for Wednesday.... he was also the leader of Oingo Boingo...

Oh yeah spiderman 3 is gonna bang

I
Ismael Barbosa · May 9, 2026

Oh she’ll complain later

M
McShades · May 8, 2026

The 3rd one is not as bad as some people want you to think it is. It's still entertaining...

M
Muldoon · May 8, 2026

If you start with any Spider-Man games, the one they made for this movie is the one that cracked the code.

Haikal Haikal · May 7, 2026

The third one is not even bad its just way cheesier than this one i hope she's ready🤣🤣🤣

Another Spidey down! I’m gonna be honest, when I was younger I was never the biggest fan of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies. I don’t even fully know why — I think maybe some of the acting felt a bit awkward to me back then. But revisiting them now 20+ years later, I’ve actually enjoyed them a lot more than I expected. The villains in these first two movies are genuinely fantastic. That said… the romance side of this one can be a little frustrating at times 😅 It almost leans as hard into the relationship drama as it does the superhero stuff. Still a really good movie though. I also think this one feels much more Peter Parker-focused than Spider-Man-focused. The first movie is all about discovering his powers and becoming a hero, whereas this one is more about Peter trying to balance everything and figure himself out. Even losing his powers for part of the movie really leans into that. Your comment about the “teen angst music” compared to the first movie actually fits that perfectly. There are some great moments in this one too. Seeing the “You serious?” meme in context is amazing 😂 And the elevator scene after he loses his powers — the comment about the suit “riding up in the crotch” immediately reminded me of Tom Holland’s “tight around the web shooter” line. Same energy. Also had to laugh when you called him “octopus guy” way before Doc Ock properly showed up. Accidental foreshadowing haha. Another great reaction as always. And I totally agree with your point about “bad movies” too — even movies people consider bad can still be entertaining, and it’s way more fun forming your own opinions instead of just following internet consensus.

i think it's fair to say you're one of the best reactors in the game rn, especially with gaming on the youtube channel

Wordsmith012 · May 7, 2026

Thank you for watching this movie. I watched this way back when I was 9 years old in theaters and remember how crazy the moments were, especially in theaters. And every time you said “I hate this movie.” I just wanted to tell you “No, you hate that you love this movie.” 😆 If you want another awesome Spider-Man story, the PS5 game is stands up there with the movies too. Thank you for another awesome viewing with a friend. 😊

(visibly dancing in joy and excitement due to the release of this video) oh boy, yeah! 😅❤️🥰 All I can truly say at this point is thank you Eralia Watson or whatever your declassified name is. 🤓😅🫂 Thank you for everything that you've done! For our country! 🫡😅❤️

This and X-Men 2 are probably the best examples of the 2nd movie setting the bar even higher than the first movie. Considered among the best of the Marvel movies, MCU and pre MCU.

A
Ajay · May 7, 2026

This was probably one of the funniest reactions from Eralia, lost it every time she said "get f*cked*

D
D · May 7, 2026

Hah, your reactions to this were so f'n funny! Something fun about the BTS of this series, Sam Raimi was well known for his work mixing horror and comedy before. You get to see both those styles in this series. He also did Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (post Endgame) and you may recognize his style there.

J
Justin m · May 7, 2026

you have the best sense of humor. one of the funniest reactions to this movie ever haha

M
Mikey · May 7, 2026

lmao telling someone to "get fucked on" during his lowest point is diabolically hilarious

A
Aaron Burgess · May 6, 2026

Of the handful of reactors I watch, you have become my favorite by far. If anyone else had posted a react to "Spider-Man 2" I would have skipped, but your reactions are so fun to see that I not only watched a movie I thought not worth my time to watch again, but I rediscovered what I enjoyed about a classic. Excellent work Eralia!

Flaycont · May 6, 2026

These movies are so good but my only complaint really is the characterization of mj. She's so annoying

L
Lizard Ahaz · May 10, 2026

Have you seen how annoying that actress is in real life these days?..

A
Adan N · May 6, 2026

Heck yeah!! Just got off work with a 4 day weekend and day one with Spider-Man 2 🥳🥳

T
Troy · May 6, 2026

"Crazy chairs." -- I have seen this movie, like, FIVE TIMES, minimum, and never noticed how weird Aunt May's chairs are. 😄 The "Content For Me" take is an excellent point. I think the people who said "Skip Spider-Man 3" (and I probably was one of them early on), were likely coming from a perspective of, "If you have a limited amount of time to watch Spider-Mans [Spider-Men?], then that is the most skippable." But if you have zero intention of skipping the Spiders-Man, then by all means, watch the worst of the bunch, it's still more entertaining than [insert a lot of older superhero movies here].

M
Matthew · May 6, 2026

This is definitely one of my favorite movies, if not #1!

R
Raptor · May 6, 2026

Ever planned to play the spider-man games? (The new ones to PS4/5) If you haven't already, think you'd love the story in em

O
Oodjee · May 6, 2026

Do you plan to mix in any films outside of Marvel in your reactions by any chance? There are so many other great films you should definitely check out :)

NYG316 · May 6, 2026

“Your wieners not tingling?” LMBO I am pretty sure it does not work that way! 😂 Fun times as always. I like Toby Maguire’s Spider-Man most. Then Andrew Garfield. They are their own person, unlike Tom Holland’s Spidey who feels more like Iron Man’s sidekick. 🤷‍♂️

d
ducky · May 6, 2026

if you’d like to upset most people but watch a slightly better movie i would watch the editors cut of spiderman 3 instead of theatrical

B
Baldemort · May 6, 2026

Hey Eralia, do you plan to watch the Andrew Garfield spidermans before Spiderman No Way Home?

e
eralia · May 7, 2026

yep!

J
Josh Becker · May 6, 2026

I love the eraction so far I can't wait for your reaction now!

M

This is top 2 all time for me with Marvel. Winter Soldier and this go to war for #1 anytime somebody asks. I hope you enjoyed it!

M
Marc Levy · May 6, 2026

oops, tried watching it, then realized i had 2.1 version. things got out of sync.

I
Isaac Espinal · May 6, 2026

I can already see how its gonna suck because after the spiderman catch up people are going to probably ask you to watch the deadpool movies and maybe another series because the third deadpool movie is in the MCU lineup. I can see how it can easily get overburdening with how many movies there is

D
Darj · May 6, 2026

Oh, so much to say about this one. It's definitely an important movie to watch as it deals with Peter's biggest struggle as a super hero. It's brought up in the trailer for Brand New Day as well, so glad they're leaning into that as it is a core part of Spider Man, more-so than most other superheroes. But holy hell the movie as a whole. I really don't miss the early 2000s cringefests. Ayayay... I'm so glad we've moved on from that to more tolerable cringe per minute ratios in modern movies. Sure, you have to hit those emotional notes, but don't make them the core plot point. Come on, Raimi! And you make a good point. You have to watch the bad movies too. How can you appreciate the good ones if you don't know what shlock is out there? But more importantly, you gotta make that choice for yourself. We'll bring the pop corn. :)

CHRISXGAMESALOT · May 6, 2026

Yeah I now know who's gonna be her favorite Spider-Man "A"

C
CJMc · May 6, 2026

When released, this was widely considered the best super hero movie ever made. Still many people's fav.

You are on call 24/7 in the military that means you are doing fine. Some won't understand this because they never made the commitment. All those of us who do understand ask is you do the best you can and let us know once in a while that you kept your head down and ass covered! Stay safe and enjoy what you do and things will work out for you in the end.

Kurayami Saidai · May 6, 2026

HELL YEAAA THE BEST SPIDERMAN MOVIE OF ALL TIME

L
Lizard Ahaz · May 6, 2026

Happy to see you enjoying a little more of the pre-MCU but be-careful of jumping to conclusions on which is best. Not only are you going to be occasionally jumping to different timelines but many of the older Marvel shows will be dragged back into the newer MCU shows. This is largely a part of the old comic books from the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s. Love watching that face when you watch and how your jaw drops open so far you have difficulty getting things back under control. 😋

T
Troy · May 6, 2026

Nothing wrong with jumping to conclusions, we all did that when these movies came out, the only difference is you have the benefit of hindsight. Stop warning her what's coming, let her be as surprised as we all were. ✌️

Troy · May 6, 2026
