I don't believe in the magic of universe and the colourful necessary but I am willing to listen so I met 1/2 the criteria. I do agree if people don't want to discuss these things and are closed minded they aren't worth your time and can kindly leave. I do think you throw out the line to leave your partner and friends a bit too casually without going into it with more detail (I have done both and agree but more context needed). I also gave up caffeine this year and I'm so happy I did, I found I sleep so much better as well. Your later comments is just normal growing up in your younger life and wanting to connect with like minded people or even challenge you to make you the person you are now. I believe dismissing people because they might not think the same as you is a huge issue currently, civil discussion all the time. Mindset/safe space should be allowed but to never be challenged on these things in a reasonable way is wanting an echo chamber to reinforce your already made up ideas...surely? Obviously I was engaged with what you where saying so hope I didn't come off too negative.

Eralia, I owe you an apology. (Okay, so I could technically STFU, but then what I have to say after would make less sense.) I've watched all of your Eralia Show episodes, which have been great. Motivating, fun, interesting, and all that jazz. Then I started the one right before this and was like, "Ohh." And I stopped listening, for a few reasons (I was tired, had to go to work, etc.), but in hindsight, it was mainly because I wasn't prepared to hear what *I* wrongly assumed the episode was going to be about. My knee-jerk (emphasis on 'jerk') thought was, "Is this going to be about [insert ideology/religion/TED Talk here]?" But in an effort to be 'non-judgmental', I thought, "Okay, y'know what? I'm happy that she's happy, so I'll just let her have her spiritual quantum leap and move on, it's none of my business, not for me, etc." I convinced myself in that moment I was being mature/open-minded. (Spoiler alert: I wasn't.) This latest episode title caught my attention, and though I figured it was a thematic continuation of the previous episode, my curiosity got the better of me, and I watched. And I'm SO glad I did. Because holy sh*t, this episode. THIS episode. I can't even begin to explain how hard this related. Even though I'm not a Millennial, or Gen Z, or what have you, the struggle to be authentic is still just as real. And I don't think I'd ever heard a -- I'll just use your self label, "Leo" -- express/admit many of the same things that I've dealt with. It's easy to fall into the trap of, "I'm just not like that, it's not in my personality." And it is super helpful to be reminded that these things are common obstacles and/or mindgames many of us play with ourselves, sometimes without being aware that we're doing it. (Or we let others do to us, depending.) All too often I sit here and think things like, "Oh, what would [so-and-so] think if I wrote this book?" or "How would these people in my life react if I recorded that video?" And so on. Worried about the very people whose opinions hold me back from what I genuinely want to be and do. But us living according to what we think others expect from us, is not living. None of us were meant to be a carbon copy of our friends and family. WTF would be the point of that, right? It's one of the beauties of reaction videos, we ge to experience opinions outside ourselves (albeit on a pretty safe level.) There's a line from a song by musician Jonathan Coulton [writer of 'Still Alive' from Portal, among others]. The song is called "A Talk With George," and it's a fictionalized version of a semi-famous individual talking about "not taking life lying down." It has a lot over-the-top (but very real) events from that person's life, but it's not the main literal point of the song. The last line goes, "Don't live another day unless you make it count, there's someone else that you're supposed to be / something deep inside of you that still wants out, and shame on you if you don't set it free." I don't 100% agree with the literal instruction of needing EVERY day to 'count', since at times making it through a given day is the best we can do, we'll all have days like that. But at the same time, there are little things we can do that can make a difference, not just in our day-to-day but in how we see ourselves. We just have to be self-aware enough, and take our interests and needs as seriously as we would take someone else's we care about. Okay, this was far more rambly than I'd intended, so... *TL;DR VERSION:* Thank you for sharing this episode, Eralia, I'm glad I listened, as it was just what I needed today, more than I'd thought possible, and my pre-emptive assumptions about the previous episode was very unfair of me. And unfair TO me.. And I'm gonna go back and listen proper. And remind myself that I still have things to learn, from you and others. Thank you again!

The more time you spend in alignment, the more the signs and "coincidences" will appear EVERYWHERE (Staff meetings, briefing slides, road signs, place names, music in the grocery store, podcasts, books, animals, other people's conversations... it just doesn't stop). I stopped using the word "coincidences" a couple of years ago... For me, "synchronicities" fits the experience better.
