NGL, it's a special movie if it makes you go Bilingual in excitement. 🥰😅

Another fantastic reaction ma'am!!! They seriously keep getting better. One thing that stood out this time: there’s a whole chunk of Iron Man 2 where you got so locked into the movie that you literally forgot you were reacting. To your credit, you owned it: “I don’t know how long I haven’t said anything, I’ve been so into this.” That’s the mark of a good MCU film and a great reaction. Also, Happy Thanksgiving to you, to your other Patreon supporters, and everyone following along. And I cannot WAIT to see your her reaction to The Avengers next! I think it’s already up, so that’s going to be a perfect Thanksgiving treat. --- Eralia-isms: Iron Man 2 (2010) “Did those slutty dancers do Captain America and then do this movie right after? I mean slut as a term of endearment guys… I’m sure they’re very nice!!!” (Stark Expo dancers catching strays for no reason.) “Fuckle… Perching guys, I’m getting in my perch.” (During the Monaco F1 scene, and she actually perched in her seat like a small woodland creature.) “Valid use of free will.” (Tony eating donuts inside the giant Randy’s Donuts donut.) --- Previous Eralia-isms (for the running list) Iron Man (2008): “Chonky boy” — her name for the Mark I cave suit. Thor (2011): “Tess-Afflack” — her attempt at saying “Tesseract,” like the Aflac duck. “Wormhole butthole” — where she thinks Loki fell at the end. The Incredible Hulk (2008): “I bet he doesn’t have a big green wiener.” (Bruce hiding behind a tree while Betty walks with her new boyfriend.) “The Meat Sweats!” — her nickname for Tim Roth’s character immediately before he becomes The Abomination.

I've watched all the MCU movies dozens of times, but I'm still amazed at how well the franchise was introduced. You have no idea what's still to come.

So you didn't really mention it in this reaction, but we see the stark expo in this movie first and then later in the Captain America we see Steve and Bucky visit it during the war. A very subtle callback and world building you would have gotten if you watched them in order. Not particularly important, but meant to interweave the stories and a sort of shared experience between cap and Ironman through Tony's dad.

Its funny how excited you are about Avengers but you have roughly 18 movies left to the end of infinity saga. And its not really a thing unless you watch all of them.

It's such a shock when I re-watch these and see Happy Hogan, Tony's underling. I found out later that Happy (played by Jon Faverau) produced Iron-Man and was one of the people who basically built the MCU, but on screen his role as Happy he's playing a butt of many jokes, and you'd hardly guess who he was off screen.

No knock on Terrance, dude is amazing in the stuff he's famous for, but Don is a massive, massive upgrade. Rhodey is one of my favorite CB characters, and getting a heavyweight like Cheadle was brain breaking. Supposedly at some point we're getting a War Machine specific show or movie or whatever it's gonna be now lol. Can't wait to watch this one with ya, Vanko Russian critique I hope! 🤞🤞🤞

Black Widow's costume in this movie was pretty comic-book accurate. They try to put a comic-book accurate costume for every character at least once before moving to something a bit more real-world practical. https://cdn.marvel.com/u/prod/marvel/i/mg/8/30/5a2ab0d80322d/clean.jpg

Yeah, buckle up for The Avengers. You will lose your shit and be crying, screaming, throwing up.

They did recast Rhodey, yes. And that's what the "Yes, I'm here, get over it, let's move on" was about. Nice way of doing it. :D And yeah, that was ol' Muskrat. That choice certainly didn't age well...

For the record, it's safe for you to watch this two-minute Marvel short, "A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer." (The video is mostly credits.) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdq0HoBxxfU
