Breaking news from the front lines of The Great Jaw Saga! I visited the doctor yesterday, got my teeth scanned, and somewhere deep in a computer now lives a 3D version of me — probably cooler, and definitely with better jaw alignment

Next up: the big diagnostics. It’s the boss level of the whole treatment. Sounds like a sci-fi procedure, but really it’s just scary-looking and stupidly expensive. Like… “hi there, $800” kind of expensive.

But hey, I’ve got no choice — the jaw must be saved. I’ve arranged to borrow the money from friends and will be paying it back little by little like a responsible adult (or at least pretending to be one). Timing is important, so I gotta do it soon.
