House of Hearts is a continuation of Game of Hearts. It is a new entry to the story with a new cast and hosting every character from Game of Hearts. It also expands on the mechanics from the past game while adding a host of new stuff.
I consider House of Hearts a sequel.
A new season will usually be more in line with its previous seasons—House of Hearts... is a bit of a different beast. In terms of scope, mood, characters, storytelling, and look, House of Hearts is quite a massive leap forward—this, of course, depends on one's personal preferences and biases.
House of Heart's story revolves around... well, The House. It is contained in the House of Hearts, and further continuation of the story past that point will be under a new title.
In the same manner, Game of Hearts revolves around Meredith. It ends when her arc reaches its final moments.
They're both connected, but also contained within their story arcs. Season-based stories do not usually present themselves in this manner.
A direct sequel fits better.
AGAIN, I MUST STRESS THIS, AND I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH: Meredith, Julia, and Maxime will return. The mechanics present in House of Heart allow further expansion of their roles and their personalities. It is planned and designed specifically so they will fit.

One of the best games i've ever play, please keep going ! I love the design of the visuals and the quality of the writing. And clearly, all the character design is incredible.
Can you put a link to game of hearts here as well? I can't find any links to the final update of GoH, anywhere. I don't use steam
I bought Game of Hearts on Steam. I've played tons of these AVNs, but GoH is in a class of it's own. You've got a new devoted fan. Keep this up, please!

No you will not need to import a save from Game of Hearts.
Wow, I've just finished GoH yesterday and a I have to say : it's an incredible game. Overwhelming visuals, very nice story and above all, I love the depth of feelings and the game of seduction. This game is a real gem ! I have only a little money and the end of the month is always a bit tight. But this work is just so good, and I have to support the developer. So, it will be my little gift for the end of the year, I intend to become a spark member. Thank you for this incredible game !

Hello there - quick question: is it still a mystery or was there an explanation that I missed about Lilith and Nero (what happened to them, why she "disappeared" for thousands of years and why Nero lost his memory and why Lilith's 'time is running out'??? I'm desperate to know!
IIRC, there was a comment about her being banished by a group of demons because she was so powerful, or something to that effect.
Was slightly disappointed there wasn't an import of saves from GoH, but not a major deal. And I thought the GoH recap was an excellent thing to do. Of course it wasn't nearly as long as I would have liked, but I won't complain about that. :D Overall I thought the initial release of HoH was awesome. Other than the fact I want more, I have no complaints. You are doing a fantastic job. I hope you can get past the issues you've had recently and I hope the support continues to grow. Looking forward to buying GoH on Steam even though I have already played it. :D

Just played this through (1.1a). Took me a while to get back into your style (lots of mysterious haunted looks from the characters) but it fits with the mood you are trying to create so no problems with that. You have created a distinctive style and I will continue to follow this VN with interest. I hope you achieve your aspirations in terms of revenue. All the best.
