The Wind Told Me and THANK YOU!!!
If you've heard the first Fireside Chat, then you've heard about the fateful meeting at the village bakery where the wind carried Lou like the smell of a pie would carry Bugs Bunny. This is a dramatic re-enactment of that meeting happening RIGHT NOW. Look at them. So young, so carefree, Brennan threatening his own phone with his teeth like a frightened chimpanzee. Such humble beginnings/currentings.
Also pictured: the infamously gargantuan table in the old Kickstarter HQ library where Brennan and producer Taylor played their first game of D&D together all those years ago, and where Taylor grabbed Brennan's by the lapels of his tuxedo tshirt and said "Why aren't you doing this in front of a camera you FOOL." And then the table cracked in half, probably because of ancient magic?
From all of us, THANK YOU for such an incredible launch. This is all beyond our wildest dreams, and just get ready, cause we're gonna try our damned best to show you a great time.

I wish we would be able to hear the whole Children's Adventure before the first episode releases. It seems reasonable that a lot of people will want to hear the 16 hour character-creation adventure before diving into the main story, so unless those people listen to the Children's Adventure really, really fast, they will not be able to take part in the initial reaction and discussion of the first episode :( I'll survive either way, I guess I just wonder what the reasoning is behind releasing the Children's Adventure and episode 1 at the same time.

I listened to both releases in the car and couldn’t stop laughing so loud that I was afraid people in traffic would hear me. I should have just rolled down the window, cranked the volume, and rewound it to the part where Brennan re-welcomes listeners and saved myself the worry of people wondering why I was cackling.
I love how in the third photo there's someone desperately trying to hide. Coup Crew cannot be denied.
Aabria has shown me what it means to be a confident black woman in the DnD space, Erika has shown me what it means to be your most authentic self (I struggle with that sometimes), Lou has normalized black men in the DnD space and shown me how much fun I should be having with people close, and Brennan has shown me how to use my mind while also not taking myself too seriously. TLDR: I truly love you all and I'm so excited for this!!!!
