Ohhhh my goddddd you guys (gender neutral usage of "guys") YOU GUYS! Dammit, I cried actual tears at the end when they became best friends. I thought I would miss the wizard the witch and the wild one and nothing could compare. But the thing is, there's a reason my partner who introduced me to this podcast almost two years ago described y'all as his favorite storytellers. Y'all are the best. Aabria included, of course. And I didn't know what Dropout was until a while after starting on WBN. This was my introduction to a whole world of delightfully talented people and Beardsley is the best and I love all of this so much and now I'll shut up because I'm listening to episode 1 now. Thank you for this excellence. All of you, everyone involved in creating this. 🤩

The vibes are immaculate; Lou, you've done it again! Two standout moments character-wise: the sandwich and coffee exchange was such a neat bit of characterization. I love how deftly Lou and Brennan move in this dance! And of course the hair thing. What a fun non-sequitur to drop on your friends. Can't wait to see where this goes!

I always marvel how folks like Lou and Brennan are able to narrate in such detail from the GM's chair. How much of the descriptive detail is researched and written into a script, and how much is so well-learned that they can just pull details out of the air and into casual exposition?

Already so much personality. Also - glad Lou was able to get that "texting doesn't exist in this world," at the end. I feel like that lack of instant communication will be important when Big things start happening.

Man, Lou is so good at making a place feel alive in his descriptions. I don't know if it's his energy or his writing but no GM can paint a picture in my mind like him.
