The red fireballs against the grey sky and the single piano key tone when Suvi receives her blue sapphire (just a subtle suggestion of importance)..and remembering Ame’s joyful squeal and nonstop chatter just around the corner makes this somber scene just a brief moment for Suvi

Okay, I haven't engaged with the post yet I just need to say I got the notification that said Suvi's Goodbye and fully panicked, tripped and dropped my phone, and am still lying on the ground after grabbing my phone and seeing that Suvi is not leaving the campaign 😅

One of the moments that's clearest in my mind of this story, now animated. How perfect. DANG IT. I only JUST finished re-listening to the entire podcast start to finish, but now the itch to start from zero again has fully hit me... again. There's so many other things i want to catch up with but i won't be able to now that this want is stuck in my brain again. Admittedly, a good problem to have but still. This story is so amazing, and this animatic is so amazing too i don't have the words to express how much i love it.

The creative choices are so stunning, Danica absolutely understood the assignment. Not even including so much of the original dialogue and narration etc, the story was captured in its essence so beautifully, and the animation details like the horse and carriage running across the camera when they're getting through the city bring so much life into the world

Oh my god, instant tears. The audio was amazing to begin with, but this really brings home the terror. 😭 Poor Suvi. I’m glad we got a peek of Ame at the end - was worried we wouldn’t. Thank you Danica!!
