Witch Week: Ame, Witch of the World's Heart
IT'S THE FINAL DAY OF WITCH WEEK! We've got five witches in the Coven of Elders, which means artwork of each witch per day for the rest of this week!
Today belongs to Ame, Witch of the World's Heart.
I will find these tools that I need. I will find my friends. They'll come with me. I have so little time, and so much to do, but I will get it done. That's what a witch does. There is nothing that cannot be fixed by hard work and care. And I am filled with the aptitude, the experience, and the knowledge, and heart, for both.
Thank you so much for joining us on Witch Week!
The Coven of Elders was lovingly brought to life by artist Jack Jones. You can find him here:

This is GORGEOUS!
OH I love all of this and all the little heart details on ame's clothes!
It took me so long to realize that was Mr. Soup! Makes this art even better. Would love to have this in some kind of print in the future!
MR SOOOOUUUP!!!
The charm of this picture is the story it's telling. The colour palette shows Ame (with red accents) is both flanked by types of people she knows (spritis in green and human in blue) , and yet distinct from all of them and the fox has been dragged along with her. Also, the day she finds an umbrella, she's going to be torn. A.G.
Love this one and all the witches. Best witches ever. I ran Wild Beyond the Witchlight a while back and those witches weren’t too bad… but these witches are the real deal!
big hat goes hard af
I find it funny because I always give Eursulon more of elongated body, but I think that stems from the description given in the children's adventure
It’s hard for me to not imagine him more like an owlbear and I keep having a split second of confusion when he’s more anthropomorphic and wearing clothes in his natural form.
I think my favorite part is Ame and fox having the same look in their eyes
Love them all so much. Next time Ame goes home again can we meet the spontaneous spirit guides from the hives and garden and woods??!!!!
Why does the fox looks so sad 😭
“There is nothing that can’t be fixed with hard work and care” Oof this hit harder than I expected it to.
Love the addition of Mr Soups
This is my favorite art of Ame. Whenever I imagine her I will use this as reference.
Now that we’ve seen the witch art of both Ame and Indri, I’d like to announce that I am officially team “Ok Corduroy”
Why’s Ursalon kinda… 😅
Right!? I have never been a monsterfucker. But Ursalon in this is 👀ok calves!
Screw simping for Gramore, give me Ame baby!
I couldn't pay attention due to Mr. Soup being the best character.
Yes!!! Well done!!
I looooooove!!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I am absolutely loving Ame in between her retinue: half way between the wizards and the spirits (more often than one might think)
I don’t think I ever clocked that Ame is hot but I feel weird now that I have.
MR SOUP! Love that guy.
joining the chorus of MR SOUP!!!!!!!
Perfection
While I am sad there's no wrenn art, YAY MORE AME ART
MR. SOUP!!!
Why does Fox look sad?
absolutely 100% smash ALL of the above
Incredible
Does anyone know which episode the quote is from?
I waaaant to say right before she leaves for the North Pole. When she's back at the cottage. So maybe #23 On Your Way?
I regret that I have just one heart to give the Witch of the World's Heart ❤️
MISTER SOUP!
Now we just need art of Morning Wren Song back in her heydey
Hey there, corduroy! 😆
Worried eyes and eyebrows. 😟
Cool you made me cry
MR SOUP 💕💕💕💕
So Wizard week is next right????
Content warning for Wizard Straw
My friend made the suggestion of getting all 5 witches onto a deskpad, and I am in love with this idea. How do we make it happen???
MISTER SOUUUUUUP Ok but I want Ame's hat real bad. Think of the sun protection on that thing!!! Not super helpful when you're at a conclave in eternal night....but think of everywhere else! Fox seems ...less than happy to be there prolly cuz he's cold. Do we think Fox would wear shoes like those dog shoes people put in their pets? They might hinder escape Also I think I assumed Ame was much shorter, though could just be perspective/she's farther in front of her retinue
It's certainly more of a perspective/compositional thing Ame is indeed quite short!
I NEEEEEEEEED a Mr. Soup plushie in my life!!!!
Omfg Mr. SOUP THO!!
LOVE THIS
Big hat! :D This is really great. I love all these witch art works.

yes! from erika's twitter: "I asked Jack for “Traditional Shrine Maiden Meets Russian Fairy Tale”. That I wanted Ame to be between the spirit and human worlds, but trying her best to advocate for both."
Is that Mr Soup?? Awwww cute!
