Some New Updates, Reminders, and What's This??
Ahoohoo, happy Friday! We've got a few updates, reminders, and a lovely little tease for something mega cool that's coming next week 👀
Adding the Patreon-Exclusive Fireside Feed to Spotify
We’ve been testing it out for a while and can finally shout about it publicly: You can now add your private Fireside Feed to your Spotify account! This means that if you use Spotify for podcasts, you can get both the main public feed and Fireside Feed right there in the platform. Many other podcast apps also allow you to combine multiple feeds into unified playlists, like Overcast, Pocketcasts, etc, but now Spotify does as well. For instructions on how to add your private RSS into your Spotify account, click riiiight here.
Patreon Recommendations
Patreon has added a new feature that allows Patreon artists to “recc” each other! We love this! Check out our About page where you can see the other Patreon artists we recommend. You might recognize our first two: The Griffon’s Saddlebag (who designed the art and stat blocks for the magic items in Arc 1 of the Wizard the Witch and the Wild One), and Transplanar, a really, really good looking and generally fantastic video AP, that we think you’ll love.
Interlude #2: The Clearing
We have recorded and are now scoring and editing our second interlude, to debut this September between Arcs 3 and Arc 4! Should you miraculously survive the remaining episodes of Arc 3 (it’s INTENSE and WILD, folks) you’ll be treated to what can only be described as the exact opposite of our first interlude, Twelvebrooks. In “The Clearing”, all new characters will take you far into the past of Umora, to a place made of danger, blood, and light, a place you have not, or wait..maybe you have (?) been before. God, we love being mysterious.
WBN Summer Remix Competition Deadline
Your friendly reminder that the WBN Summer Remix competition deadline is June 24th, 12pm PT! You can find all the info/rules and listen to all the submissions we've received so far over on this post, and submit your own entry over here!
Upcoming Merch
We hinted at upcoming merch during our birthday livestream, and more things are picking up steam and taking shape as we speak! WATCH THIS SPACE, and get excited!
And what we have in store for next week ... Can you guess? 👀
Something witchy this way comes ...

I am having trouble finding the Rec’s page via the About section. Maybe it doesn’t show up on the Patreon app? Anyone else having this issue or knows how to solve it?
Thank you for Spotify integration!!
I think the vibe of the Umora one shots is that there are adventures happening everywhere - they are like short stories, where you can imagine so much more but are meant to linger. Maybe we will see some of the Twelve Brooks characters in the future but I’m totally down for snippets of other places without definitive endings to those stories.
Has there been a finished release of the Witch class that I haven't seen? Or is the playtest pdf still the jam
MEEEERRRRRRCH 😍😍😍
If the fox is dead at the end of this arc SO HELP ME!
I will sob
Still willing to bribe you to accidentally send me the next episode early. Partially edited is fine. Even just the resolution to the last scene of the previous episode would be worth a couple grand to me. JK... Unless...
So, here’s a dumb question for anyone who can answer me: was there more to the Twelvebrooks episode? Was there a part 2 that I’m missing? I felt it ended really abruptly or did I just not understand the ending? Maybe I need to go listen to it again.
Twelvebrooks was styled as a "one shot", so there isn't a part 2 (so far), and it did end abruptly. @WBN I would like to register my interest in returning to Twelevebrooks for a continuation when it can be done. I am certain other Patreon members would also appreciate a return. I am also looking forward to "The Clearing"! I have enjoyed all the one shots.
I am DYING for the Wizard class I need me some Citadel magic
So I'm wondering if the clearing has to do with the founding of the citadel in the desert that wasn't a desert
oooh love this idea. i was thinking that we might get some primordial witch intros - like Hakea’s background
I'm begging you (eventually, once there are enough illustrations for it) to do a tarot deck as a merch option at some point because every art drop has been BREATHTAKING
I want to know which PCs/NPCs would be major arcana SO BAD
Wait, I've been using Spotify to access Fireside content since January, was it not supposed to be available?
Same!
Why does the fox look so sad!!
I think he's probably looking at that giant polar bear and thinking "ouuuuggghh boooyy"
NEW ART NEW ART
Fetch Quest?!?
Oooo Spotify link-up. You looking to secure my top podcast spot 2 years in a row? I did a reslisten to the 1st and 2nd arcs while waiting for the 3rd...so you were probably already fine.
Please be prints too AAAAAA
WITCH ARTTTT‼️‼️‼️👀👀
One, Holy Witch Art! Two, please don’t tell me The Clearing is when the Desert wasn’t (I’ll cry). Three, don’t think I didn’t see Indri doing a girlboss hand
That's a hand position that says "technically this is an open palm, but I'm also just showing off how much effort I put into my manicure"
WITCH ART OMFG YES
WITCH ART! WITCH ART!WITCH ART! WITCH ART!
Next official art idea: Baddie Grandma Wren (with Taro of course)
I still think the one scene that gave me the most clear impression of Wren was her verbal sparring with Miranda, and if ever there was a scene I'd love to see animated for facial expression and body language alone it would be that; I feel she very much is the embodiment of that old classic of diplomacy: "Speak softly, and carry a big stick".
I'd love me some official art of the coven but *I HOPE* it also comes with the next playtest (or release!!!) of the Witch class. Oh booooy has one of my players been enjoying the Witch class so far!
OFFICIAL ART OF COVEN??
Hmm…seems familiar. 🤔
10/10 joke, excellent material, excellent delivery🧐
Hell yeah
MERCH YES PLEASE
OMG I can finally order my listening to these in the correct order on Spotify
Y E S !!!!!!!!!
I am so looking forward to the episode where all the familiars get together and sort things out away from all the nonsense
It would be so cool if they did an interlude where they all played as familiars!! Like Brennan still as the fox and the others for the other members etc
