I do find it very frustrating though that it's presented as though the Citadel and wizards are Humans. This false absolute trichotomy of Witches, Spirits, and Wizards (humans) has been crafted where the wizards and Citadel are cast as the only role or representative of humans and thus to be anti-wizard is to be anti-human here. But it's not. We know literally nothing about Ruth (sp?) and Gathmai (sp?) so far but that at least in Gathmai there are also humans. We know in Akom there are non-Citadel, non-wizard, non-Empire (imperial) humans. WIZARDS ARE NOT THE SOLE HUMAN DELAGATES EXCEPT THROUGH FORCE AND OPPRESSION.

I'm not sexually attracted to the violence and murder, but I don't hate Gremora. Not to mention, primal is not an uncommon kink.

It's so interesting to me that SO MUCH of Suvie's annoyance and anger with Ame and Eursilon is the human cost of their brashness and "quest fever." And Aabria brings it up that now Suvie knows what that feels like because of how urgently she felt the need to get her people out of the castle. But it's even more interesting to me that Suvie had a moment where she didn't think, didn't want to, and directly confronted Straw because she just needed to figure out what was going on. THAT is what caused Straw to run, and running is what caused her to die. Not saying it's Suvie's fault, but it also wasn't Eursilon or Ame's fault that the Azure Battalion suffered losses in Port Talin. I just think it's really cool to see that Suvie also has certain things, mainly knowledge, that motivate her to impulsive and confrontational action, sometimes with fatal consequences. This was SUCH an awesome episode in terms of parallels!

Oh yeah! The parallel between Ame fear vs Citadel and Suvi fear vs Coven Because Ame and Ursulon are more sensitive and feel the trap surrounding them as weird changes happen in the Citadel. So the need to flee is strong in them but something Suvi doesn’t get. But Suvi isn’t as sensitive when confronting the coven. She was arrogant enough to see them as something to navigate around and play games with. So Grimore hunting Suvi’s fleeing staff member is a more obvious “you are in danger, it is all around and you need to run asap” That’s cool
