Fantasy Guild Master — Meet Shay!

Hey guys,

It's finally time to start showing you a little more of what I've been working on since the release of Midnight Sin!

Before I introduce the first character, though, there's one pretty big change I want to talk about.

A new art direction

For Fantasy Guild Master (working title), I've decided to move away from the 100% DAZ-based workflow I've used for my previous games. Instead, I've been developing a new AI-assisted art pipeline for the game.

I've spent quite a bit of time experimenting with it and developing a consistent visual style, and I'm really happy with where it has ended up.

For me, DAZ has started to feel increasingly limiting, especially when it comes to animation, where the workflow is beginning to feel quite outdated.

By utilizing AI, I can work more efficiently while hopefully achieving a higher level of quality at the same time. It also allows me to design things specifically for this game and its fantasy setting, giving me a lot more freedom in how the characters and world look.

I wanted to be transparent about this from the beginning rather than quietly changing the art style and pretending nothing had changed.

And with that out of the way...

Meet Shay

Shay is a rogue. She's quick, sarcastic, stubborn, and has a somewhat flexible interpretation of the concept of personal property.

That last part is actually the reason she ends up joining your guild... although it won't be entirely voluntary...

I'll leave it there for now, because I don't want to spoil too much about her story.

I'm really looking forward to developing this game! It's an idea I've had for a long time, so I'm very excited to finally start bringing it to life.

Over the next few weeks, I'll introduce you to more of the characters who will become part of your guild.

But for now, I'm curious:

What do you think of the first member of your new guild?
