πŸš€ Standalone ECU Tuner v1.1 Early Access Coming Soon – v1.0 Now Available for €12 Tier!

We’ve been working hard on the next major update for Standalone ECU Tuner, and v1.1 is almost ready.

This update is much more than just a collection of fixes. We’ve cleaned up and improved many things from the previous release, fixed reported bugs, polished existing systems, and added several completely new features that significantly expand the simulator.

πŸ”§ What’s new in v1.1?

πŸ€– New AI Assistant

Standalone ECU Tuner now includes its own integrated AI Assistant designed specifically around ECU tuning, diagnostics and the systems available inside the simulator.

The AI can help explain settings, guide you through problems, assist with diagnostics and help you understand what is actually happening inside the engine and ECU instead of simply telling you which number to change.

πŸ“š ECU Tuning Encyclopedia

The new integrated encyclopedia contains detailed information about ECU functions, sensors, fuel control, ignition, boost control, protections, diagnostics and many other systems.

The goal is not only to show what a setting does inside the simulator, but also to explain the real-world principle behind it.

🧭 Guided Procedures

The AI Assistant is also connected to a new system of guided procedures.

Instead of simply giving you the answer, it can walk you through diagnostics or setup step by step, showing you what to check, where to find it and why the step matters.

This makes the Standalone ECU Tuner much more useful as a learning tool, especially for people who are only starting to explore standalone ECU tuning.

πŸ”Œ New ECU Pinout Menu

A completely new ECU Pinout section has been added.

You can now configure and inspect ECU pins, assign different inputs and outputs, check pin capabilities, see connected devices, warnings and pinout summaries, and build the ECU configuration in a much more realistic way.

βš™οΈ 3 ECU Stages

The Hardware section is also being expanded with three different ECU stages.

Instead of every car simply using the same ECU hardware, you’ll be able to choose between different ECU levels with different capabilities and limitations.

Higher ECU stages will unlock more advanced hardware possibilities and give us much more room to expand the simulator in future updates.

πŸ› οΈ Bug fixes, stability improvements and polishing

v1.1 also includes many fixes and improvements based on the first release β€” UI fixes, system corrections, improved behaviour of existing features and general polishing throughout the Standalone ECU Tuner.

πŸ”“ Access

The previous Standalone ECU Tuner version is now available for the €12 tier:

Standalone ECU + Custom Cars STAGE 1 and higher.

The new Standalone ECU Tuner v1.1 will be available in a few days as the next Early Access release for the €20 tier:

Standalone ECU + Custom Cars STAGE 2

STAGE 2 members will therefore get early access to the new version first, while development continues and the update is tested and improved.

This is another big step toward what we originally wanted Standalone ECU Tuner to become β€” not only a deeper engine tuning system for Assetto Corsa, but also a simulator where you can actually learn how standalone ECU tuning works, experiment safely, diagnose problems and understand why the engine reacts the way it does.

More updates are already planned. πŸ”₯

Yes, it will work with all cars, including modded ones. I’m working on that right now.
