PPFilter Update
Hi guys,
I’m just finishing work on the next update of our PPFilter(Easy mod). Over the last days I’ve been integrating several *Unreal Engine 5–style lighting features* and improving the overall material response to make the image more physically consistent.
Some of the main additions and improvements:
• *ACES-based filmic tonemapping* for more cinematic contrast and highlight rolloff
• *Directional material energy model* (different response for road, grass, trees, buildings, car paint)
• *Improved skylight / atmospheric scattering response* for better cloudy and overcast lighting
• *Vegetation light scattering and micro-shadowing* for more depth in grass and trees
• *Distance contrast falloff and aerial perspective* for more realistic scene depth
• *Specular energy normalization* to keep reflections physically balanced
• *Skylight-driven ambient lighting improvements* (better behavior when the sun disappears)
• *Additional temporal smoothing* across multiple parameters to prevent flickering and keep transitions stable
I’m also refining the material balance so surfaces like *buildings, roads and vegetation react more naturally to changing lighting conditions*.
Here are some of the latest screenshots from the current build.
The update should be ready within 2–3 days as Easy Mod v1.01.
Thanks again for all your support — it really helps pushing the project forward.

This could turn out to be the third player on the Assetto Corsa Ecosystem, being: CSP, Pure and Easy Mod.
