Advanced Force Feedback

Whats New in v1.173alpha:

Enhanced force feedback for steering wheels. Here are 10 adjustable FFB factors for your best driving experience

1. RPM Factor : Afects both vibrations and steering weight based on engine RPM. Higher RPM typically leads to increased vibrations and a heavier steering feel.

2. Gear Factor :Adjusts vibrations and steering weight according to the current gear. Different gears exhibit varying vibration characteristics and steering feel.

3. Power Factor: Affects vibrations and steering weight based on the current engine power relative to the maximum power. Higher power results in increased vibrations and a heavier steering feel.

4. Throttle Factor: Influenced by the throttle position. Greater throttle pressure increases both vibrations and steering weight, reflecting increased engine force.

5. Brake Factor: Affects vibrations and steering weight during braking. Increased brake pressure leads to greater vibrations and a heavier steering feel.

6. Turbo Factor: Based on turbo pressure. Higher turbo pressure increases vibrations and can lead to a lighter steering feel.

7. Lateral G-Force Factor: Based on lateral acceleration (G-forces). Increased lateral forces lead to greater vibrations and a heavier steering feel during cornering.

8. Longitudinal G-Force Factor: Based on longitudinal acceleration (G-forces). Higher longitudinal forces increase vibrations and steering weight when accelerating or braking.

9. Steering Angle Factor: Affects vibrations and steering weight based on the steering angle. Greater steering angles increase both vibrations and steering resistance.

10. Speed Factor: Adjusts vibrations and steering weight based on the vehicle's speed. Higher speeds lead to increased vibrations and a heavier steering feel.

Off, 1 for progressive steering and 2 for enhanced force feedback. Each of the 10 factors in the enhanced force feedback menu can be set from 1 to 10, where 1 is 10% and 10 is 100%.

Additionally, if the clutch is pressed or the gear is in neutral, the steering wheel will feel lighter. In a high gear at low RPM with full throttle, the engine may struggle. We've also added unique force feedback behavior based on the drivetrain type.
