Happiness Begone😶
Tired of your Sim having the Nicely Decorated room buff for the 167 times already in their bathroom? Stop Happy buffs from clogging the UI unless YOU WANT TO, so Sims can have other emotions. This simple mod will not make Happy buffs appear anymore unless you make a Cheerful Sim or play with infants and toddlers. If you want your Sims to gain Happy buffs you'll now have 2 new options in the rewards store, which are:
Lifelong Happiness: Permanently restores the ability to get Happy buffs again. It costs 8000 Satisfaction Points.
Burst of Happiness: Gives a temporary buff of 7 days that gives Sims the ability to get Happy buffs again. Once the buff expires they will return to not gain Happy buffs. This one costs 1000 Satisfaction Points.
(Hot-Headed and Gloomy Sims will not be able to purchase these new rewards)
This is fully compatible with my Emotions 2.0 mod. I removed the Fine +2 buff when this mod is installed because bonus Happiness are no more, so it didn't make sense to leave it, but if you purchase any of the new rewards the buff will come back!
🚨DISCLAIMER: This mod prevents ALL Happy buffs (even pregnancy ones), so before doing anything "game changing" you have to buy the buff from the rewards store. Alternatively, you can use my other Limited Positivity mod which only prevents positive buffs in very bad moods/bad moods (depending on which one you choose).🚨

I just ran into a conflict between this mod and adeepindigo's Education Overhaul. The conflict prevents students from enrolling into an alternate school after acceptance since there's a Happy buff that needs to be active on the student for the enrollment option to appear for the parent. This might only specifically apply to the private school, but I got around it by buying the Burst of Happiness buff for the student before starting the application process. Just an FYI in case anyone else runs into this. Thanks for the mod!

I love this because it is the most appropriate way to use "satisfaction" points in which satisfaction truly equates with happiness!
