👨🔧Snowy Disgrace Lifestyle Fixes🔧
I wanted my sims to have lifestyles a few months ago and saw that they are completely broken (as a tradition of EA nowadays) because I started seeing things like this:
Why for the love of all that's good make those buffs uncomfortable ones when you can have chosen the tense emotion?? I mean, even Active sims gets tense when they don't exercise for a while!
By the way that's just the tip of the iceberg because there are other issues with this system, like neglection buffs are not persistent, they get removed by traveling, so you can basically remove wathever bad neglection buff by just visiting the lot/apartment next door. Workaholic sims will get jobless buff when they just switched careers. Outdoorsy, indoorsy tunings don't make sense. Family members counting for close-knit and people person, extreme outdoorsy neglection buff being +3 instead of +5 and much more. It's this bad yeah, and of course NONE of these bugs were fixed during these years! (Who cares about gameplay anyway, right EA?) -.-
So, what this mod does is:
Changed the neglection buffs for the Energetic lifestyle from the nonsensical Uncomfortable to Tense emotion.
Neglection negative buffs will now PERSIST when traveling.
NOTE: I decided to NOT make the conflicting neglection buffs persistent (the ones you get with conflicting traits and lifestyles like "Active" Sim with a "Sedentary" lifestyle) simply because they are just Fine +1 mostly, and don't make sense!
Workaholic sims will now not have the "Jobless" buff when they just switch careers.
"Desperate to be Outside" buff is now a proper +5 buff instead of wrong +3.
Family members will not count anymore for the Close-knit and People person lifestyles.
Being outside makes an impact for sims with the Outdoorsy lifestyle, same for Indoorsy for staying indoors, so now reading a book outside will not count for Indoorsy sims.
Workaholic sims won't need PTO anymore.
If you notice any other inconsistencies or nonsense with this system please let me know and I'll see what I can do!
Enabled an invisible buff in buff replacement in the "Single and Lovin' It" Lifestyle which would be given when Sims who have this Lifestyle flirt a few times.
Created a Fine conflict override buff when Sims have both the "Loves the Outdoors" trait and "Indoorsy" Lifestyle when being outdoors.
...🤦♂️
Fixed an inconsistency with the junk food fiend buffs replacement where Maxis mistakenly replaced Buff: buff_Food_Cooking_5_Foodie with Buff: buff_Food_Lifestyles_JunkFood_4 and Buff: buff_Food_Cooking_4_Foodie with Buff: buff_Food_Lifestyles_JunkFood_5, and I also made sure to give Buff: buff_Food_Lifestyles_JunkFood_1 in Buff:buff_Food_Cooking_2_Foodie so foodies will not have the same buff as all the other Sims when eating normal food, same thing for the health food nut one.
Reduced the weights of some of the buffs from the junk food fiend and health food nut lifestyles when eating from +2 to +1.
Workaholic Sims are now exempted from having burnouts.
IF YOU ARE USING THE ADDON OF INVISIBLE BUFFS FROM EMOTIONS 2.0 THIS MOD WILL CONFLICT. YOU CAN OPEN SIMS4STUDIO AND REMOVE THE BUFFS THERE YOURSELF.

I wish you could make your own lifestyles that would be fun.
The Sims 4 is too broken, to many bugs and things that doesn't work as they should. Thank you for making this mod. I wish there would be a mod that you can have both lifestyles Outdoorsy and Indoorsy, as I love being home and I love being outside too, is it possible to make a mod like that? Thanks in advance
Unfortunately the tuning itself doesn't allow to have both lifestyles active, it's either one or the other, but the closest thing you can have is a Sim that loves the outdoors with the indoorsy lifestyle.
