Hii everyone!!

As some of you may remember, I originally started working on a set of 45 maps based on locations from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. Due to copyright concerns, Canvas Quest and I eventually abandoned the project after completing only 3 maps, which is also why he's been invited as a collaborator on those maps.

However, after giving it some thought, I've spoken with several artists, some of whom may already have accepted to collaborate on this post, and we've decided to revive the project together!

Our workflow

Our current plan will be the following:

• Mapxilla and GreyMoon will handle most of the initial and mid-stage work on the maps, essentially bringing them to life. William O'Law Studio will also work on some maps, but most will be created by other collaborators.

• William O'Law Studio will handle the final stages of each map: rearranging assets, changing colour schemes, making level-design decisions and adjustments, post-processing, Adobe work, file exporting and the creation of a major Foundry VTT Module that will be launched in this patreon while in pre-release for higher tier patreons and later on added to the other creator's site once Patreon's collab system is finished.

• All posts will be published here on the Studio's Patreon, but every creator involved will be credited and tagged. Each collaborator will also have their own post containing the paid versions of thei maps in which they have worked at, at least until Patreon finally implements proper paid-collaborator functionality.

  • In the meantime, Xilla and GreyMoon will receive payments (33% of the income, each) based on the support of the map-pack to compensate them not having access to the final paid version.

Alongside Mapxilla, GreyMoonTT, William O'Law Studio, and hopefully several other creators joining us along the way such as Canvas Quest and Atraxian Bear, we'll be working through the following maps:
