You know, with an extra $20K, Roko could buy into Union Robotics as a white-knight investor.
I suspect the extra $20K is the money she doesn't have to upgrade with. That's usually the way these things work.
If nothing else, Roko is no longer worried about the hole that Melon's volcano made in her ceiling.
Try to get the model that still does the panel 2 fore-and-aft hair flip.
Time to hit eBay for the classic model, then spend the rest of the $$ having Faye and Bubbles tweak it until it's as close to the original as possible.

Thought: What if Bubbles and Faye repair a chassis that should be beyond repair, and that puts them on the map and saves their business?

I love how the bots insurance coverage basically works like the AI case is driving a tiny car and the policies and laws seem to match that.
When you weigh as much as a car, it seems pretty reasonable to be treated like a car insurance-wise.

Hmmmm. Minor sensorium update. Is the bread smell euphoria related to her brain or her chassis? With a new body will bread not affect her the way she’s accustomed to?
The way it's been described, the longer you stay in a body, the more "Intigrated" you become with it. In the beginning the body sends you sensory input, but it doesn't truly feel like you're experiencing it. Bubbles has described for example that she can touch something and know how hot it is, but it doesn't really "feel" hot to her. As you stay in a body that changes, so you can undergo subjective experiences.
If it was truly an iPhone joke, the Model G would have no mouth -- they can only communicate when connected by Bluetooth.
Or detachable bluetooth ears!
Maybe it's time to switch to Android.
