You are aware that Brun owns a harpoon. It's practically a pet. She gets a sadistic joy out of threatening people with it. So it's safe to assume that she would at the very least threaten Renee with it in retaliation for poking her.

Like Hannelore before her, Claire is learning that there is no place in Northampton that can be described as 'quiet and sane'. Renee, no poking your sleepy friends, no matter how funny the noise they make. I'm sort of hoping that Claire sits with sleepyhead!Brun who eventually starts asking questions in her usual blunt way that helps Claire realise that she's going about this all wrong. Sometimes we all need people to tell us some blunt facts without the muffling effect of tact!
She definitely wouldn't get any studying done then. They would end up swapping terrible puns all day.

The real secret quiet place to study is Dale's apartment since I'm pretty sure he's not cohabitating with Marigold yet but they seem to be seen most frequently at Marigold and Momo's
