I think she just assumed that Annie was her preferred nickname. Despite what popular pun-unciation would indicate, Anh is much closer to "ann" than "on", so it's not much of a stretch. (actually more like "ain", but you get the gist).
But Brun is allowed to come over and talk to the bar patrons? xD Maybe it's a bartender's privilege.
