This could go either way. Could be that Ahn knew she was going to get bad press either way and figured she might as well make some (much needed) money off it. But also could be that she didn't anticiapte how nasty the tablods would get. If Bubbles' usual calm is disturbed, it must be pretty bad.
To give Anh her due (ish), she's an influencer. The tabloids probably can't get any nastier than social media already is

To be honest, she's kinda right, except for one thing. She's right that it doesn't matter what the tabloids say, for the most part. It won't really affect her, especially if they use a nice photo. However, the five grand is enough to pay their rent, likely, which is a big deal.
Why is Faye so mad? I mean, sure, that kind of media is a toxic culture to engage with, but Ahn needs money and this was the quickest way to get it.
Yeah, that is the part I don't understand. Anh now has enough money to at least buy her own food, if not enough to move out. Maybe she could pay a few bucks for rent. Seems like a win to me.
I love that Bubbles is getting angry on behalf of Anh, because she's protective like that.

Faye went to the Amish part of Massachusetts and punched out enough trees for them to build a red barn in her honor. (She gets her groceries from them these days.)

Faye has been sober for a while now. And when she first got sober she actually bulked up from working in the machine shop. Regardless, I think she looks great either way.
I think I remember the comedian, Margaret Cho talking about an article that was written about her in a tabloid. She talked about it in her stand-up and apparently part of it was about the diet. She said that it involved rice. She said it was so racist you could hear the Asian instrumentation with every word that you read.
