Does Moray just want another Moray unit to be friends with?
I think morray number one was probably a morray eel. Then the director added legs,... improved its disposition drastically an *presto* the goo girl im currently lusting after irrationally.

So are the Morays bioluminescent? Thier internal supply of plankton could be Dinoflagellates which could give off a nice glow and the online photos show them glowing in a color very similar to our favorite slime girl.

We have only seen the Director's outputs as female, never as male. Now I've always thought of the Director as gender neutral, they / them. But could the Director be female? Looking at Momray, who is an extension of the Director and very much appears to be Moray's mother... I mean, I'm just inclined to go with the pronouns others use for the Director, which have been neutral (they/them or it/its). I expect it's more that the Director either doesn't think about gender or has no ability to relate to the concept, but maybe the Morays, being more anthropomorphic, do.

Why does the director only create slime girls? Why not also create slime guys? Wait -- i just aswerved my own question -- there's *already* too many slimy guys in the world, we don't need more of them. "When some bloke wants to screw, But he's sentient goo, That's a Slime-Guy!"
Well, we have only seen a handful of Moray units. Some of them might identify as other genders. (even if they're the same basic shape as the Morays we've seen)

Director slowly losing mass...
Makes you wonder how many Morays the Director could extrude before disappearing. Based on Marten saying they are 20ft tall and eyeballing their rough proportions, I'd estimate at least two hundred. Also, "what is the volume of a jellyfish" is definitely one of the stranger things I've googled today.
Now can Moray can go back to the cute style she had at the start of the purpocalypse? Please? (puppy dog eyes)
