Dragging It Out

I think she's channeling Dark Sam
I really enjoy watching the people struggle and evolve to become better in QC. Liz is growing and you know it’s going to be fascinating to see what she becomes
I will be 68 YO next month and even I have an occaisional misanthropic moment.
Here's an off the wall question: Did we ever get a ship for Upsettia, or is she doomed to enjoy single bliss? https://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=5841
She'll send him a coax cable.
I sympathize with Marten. Sometimes my wife's depression kicks in when she needs to tell me something and I have to coax it out of her.
As someone with depression, I appreciate that being a partner to one of us is a tough assignment. Good for you for sticking it out.
The last time I had a conversation like this, the person I was talking to broke down and started to cry.
Are you sure you plugged the coax cable into them correctly? It can be really uncomfortable if you don’t find the right port!
Shall I use the prodding stick? "Poke-poke"

Liz is the kind of person that makes me, a person who means "I don't wanna talk about it" when I say "I don't wanna talk about it," irate bc people always assume I wanna be coaxed into talking about something. So many of my friends always wanna pout and have a whole-ass pity party and I don't wanna throw them one, either. I ascribe more to the "come close to me and I'll tell you what your problem is" Jenna Marbles school of dealing with this kinda thing.
Indeed, I too am in the "no really, I actually meant leave me the hell alone" camp, but I do get why people do the opposite. To not only talk about the thing that's bothering you, but also to *need* to talk about it, is admitting a vulnerability. Something which we instinctively shy away from, especially when already in pain. Those who assume other people must want to talk do so because that's what *they* would want in the same situation. Turns out empathy gets it's wires crossed sometimes.
She is a poor communicator. But Martin hears things she can't/won't say.
"Instructions unclear. Recommend disabling the 'Neurotypical Indirectness' setting and resubmitting the statement/query."
ERROR: Disabling this setting is not permitted in GremlinMode.
Just poke her with a stick until she talks.
After x amount of pokes she either bites or laughs. It’s a coin flip.
ahh another day another ODD attack, the feels.
Liz’s real problem is Emily’s favorite F1 driver is Charles Leclerc and obviously, Liz is a Max Verstappen fan.
Whereas Moray's favorite is Kimi Antonelli.
I'm so tired of Liz, I've been following this strip for many years and she is the worst thing in it. there is nothing funny or entertaining about her.
There is always the option of unfollowing then. You don’t even have to announce it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is anyone else starting to find Liz and her poor little goblin act just a little tiresome? Or am I just a heartless old man? I’ll probably get abuse for this, but I can’t imagine I’m the only one who feels that way.
It's taking a lot of energy away for Marten from and exacerbating some of the faults in his relationship with Claire.
“Dad” stuff regarding the value of love over attraction?
Apparently when she says she doesn't want to see or talk to "anyone," that set doesn't include Marten.
Surrogate big brother.
Marten needs to plug in a coax cable.
Better make sure he finds the right port!
Get some food, food works great on kids and gremlins alike!
Especially after midnight.
Hang her from the Coax Rack, then she'll talk!
Marten continues to be a great dad to his legally adopted adult child.
Well, I think the adoption has not yet been legally formalized, but basically, yeah.
Further proof that Liz and Anh are just two sides of the same gremlin. https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=5777
Is this the beginning of the dawn of the great AhnLiz?
Words are hard.
^^ This.
Is it not wanting to talk about it, or not knowing how to talk about it, Liz?
Not knowing how to want to talk about it.
It’s useful when someone gives you a hint to try coaxing. This lets you know what type of ‘don’t want to talk about it’ you’re dealing with. Helps a lot.
It's also very helpful when someone gives you a hint that you should provide a hint to try coaxing. So much helpful hinting in today's comic.
She likes likes Emily, and wanted to got to their social dark club
"Is it true Emily kissed you once? How did that happen?" "Well, first you need a snake." "One copperhead coming up!" "Actually, non-venomnous works better for this." https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2736
Sometimes you want to know they care enough to but in some effort to hear it. 😭
Butt in some effort or put in some effort? "Yes."
