Faye was busy teaching Anh to solder when suddenly the dude she used to hook up with burst into the room carrying a coffee-soaked AI blushing even pinker than her hair. It was an odd thing to see.

Anh is right. Soldering is hard.
Soldering maybe hard at first. But after some time, practice and the right equipment it gets easier. Just set your soldering iron to 185°C (365°F), keep your tip tinned with solder and use some flux paste on the part your soldering. Also, remember to use a fume extractor so you don't inhale the fuse from the solder.
If it's copper pipe, smear the male fitting sections with flux, then heat the Fitting and touch the solder to the seam. Voila! Cleaning the pipe bright with some sandpaper first doesn't hurt either.
Sven was born for this moment. After this moment, he's redundant.

This reminds me of the way that Melon and Arthur first walked into Union Robotics. At least Sven knew where he was going, and why. Also, Momo's butt is still intact. Unlike, say, her ankle... *snickers*

So interestingly enough (someone else linked those strips upthread), they came in a different entrance which gave Arthur a proper door to BAM open. I think that UR has two entrances: the rolling shutter one and one leading in from a kind of hallway.
Never could get the hang of soldering. Luckily, by the time I graduated college, it was rarely needed. Of course, I also graduated during the Dot-Com Bubble Burst.
For maximum impact, Sven should have taken his shirt off for the second panel. 😂

I solder only if absolutely necessary, but I do know that part. Last things I soldered ( new LEDs for yard lights ) actually worked when I was done. And, it's covered with colored plastic so no one will notice.
I successfully soldered one of the RCA plugs back on the output cable for my turntable. That felt like an accomplishment.
