I wonder if Momo has some lightweight chassis. Aren’t AIs significantly heavier than a human of similar size and build? Maybe Sven is just rocking a sleeper build.
I think most AI bodies are kept to human weight range for convenience. With exceptions like Bubbles' combat body.

One thing that I wondered is just how much have Momo's ideas about Marigold evolved. Marigold is clearly a "good contractor" in action; she has indulged Momo for two chassis upgrades, the first when it was financially risky. And Momo was a biohazardous wreck when we met her, but emotionally nowhere near as "stable" as where she is now. And Momo's emotionally (programatically?) committed to her as much now as ever. So where is this Sven thing coming from in her head? (Or wherever she keeps her core.) Maybe the safety of knowing she's backstopped by Dale & May helps her a lot.
I would say Momo has gone from purchased AI companion to best friend.

mmm, but we've seen that he could work with that - if you go back to the Svennelore date, Sven's description (*and* Faye's description, with the actual date as a distant third) do suggest he could do the surface level well (and I don't think *he* really knows who he is at a deeper level, though he seems to be working on it)

Perhaps. Dora certainly took longer than most to acknowledge his efforts to change. Preconceptions take awhile to overcome, especially with family. But also, Sven *needed* a short sharp kick in the ass to start changing in the first place, and her outrage helped to provide that. What else are siblings for?

I help coach adult beginner triathletes, and I also help out at local triathlons I'm not racing in, most typically as a "swim buddy" to help folks keep from panicking during the swim, especially when conditions are somewhat difficult. One time I had placed myself at the surf break at the end of the ocean swim, reminding folks to try to body surf through it, if possible. One petite lady made it through OK, only to stand up and immediately get tumbled by the next wave, after which she kept getting hit by subsequent waves, unable to make forward progress out of the surf zone. I swam up to give her a tow through the surf, after which she was too wiped out to stand up and wade out on her own. So I scooped up all 90 lbs. of her and started heading to the beach. Slowly, as we needed to do the "stingray shuffle" to avoid getting stung. Once her breathing slowed and she seemed to have recovered her composure, I asked if she felt able to walk the rest of the way. She had one arm wrapped around the back of my neck, and in response she wrapped the other arm as well. Instead of answering yes or no, instead she said with a grin, "I'm OK being carried as far as you are willing." Which I was totally OK with, taking her all the way to dry sand. But I needed to get back to help other swimmers, so I wished her the best on her bike and run, and returned to the surf line. Never saw her again. I mean, I may have, but it can be difficult to recognize folks if you only met them while they were wearing a triathlon wetsuit, goggles and a swim cap.
