April Fools Announcement
Hey, just wanted to quickly clarify a couple of things about the BMD versions that were released the 1st of April, seeing that some of you have been scared to download them in the fear of being pranked.
First of all; was there a prank in these versions? Yes, but not something that would disrupt your gameplay. What it was was a prank newspaper article being shown once when you load into a zone on April 1st. Sort of a meta prank. The point was that BMDaily had a prank article. That was it.
Secondly; were these real mod versions? Absolutely. With all the bells and whistles explained in the changelogs.
Finally, and most importantly; the reason I had to release these versions right now was not to add a new prank. In fact I had plans of skipping it altogether this year as I was knocked out with fever and a bad stomach bug. But then I realized the morning of March 31st that there was still some leftover code from the last April Fools joke in the latest releases of BMD. The scripts were there but the package was missing so instead of the prank from last year being completely present it was still just half-present, making all TVs behave in a buggy manner.
So, in a weird turn of irony, what that meant was that not updating would cause way(!) more issues than actually updating the mod.
TLDR; the version(s) released April 1st fixes the old and now bugged out prank from last year, is completely safe and contains nothing but new features and bug fixes! Please update as soon as possible if you for some reason haven’t already.

I laughed hard when I saw the artical because my friend is pro legalization of all drugs not just booze and he would love to wake up to a newspaper saying what that had aha

I personally look forward to your pranks, so thank you for added even a small one. I knew when I downloaded it that the first one might have a pranks in it, still downloaded it to see what it was then updated the mod when you released it. Hope you are feeling better and thank you for the hard work.
