Some news about life, health and GS
Hello there,
It’s been a little (well, a lot) too long since I last updated you on what’s been happening on my end.
First off, I’m now officially a full-time AVN developer (technically, an author). My contract has ended, and I’ve signed up for the necessary financial support programs, etc. In short, it’s a new life—scary, but one that will eventually lead me to a better one. Why “eventually”? Because, right now, I think the stress from all this and the rush of the last update have taken a toll on my body, and it’s making sure I feel it: back pain, gout attacks, migraines, and a bunch of sleep issues. But hey, I guess that’s normal. So, I’m trying not to push myself too hard. I’m also working on finding the right rhythm to avoid repeating the situation with the previous release (and the mini burnout I had).
On the other hand, being full-time on the game also means less income for me. So, I need to think about ways to monetize this extra time—maybe through new Patreon tiers or perks that don’t take up too much time (like special renders). I’ll figure that out in the months ahead. For now, my focus is on the game and my life.
Now, about the game—what’s new? As you already know, the new chapter is almost entirely written. I’ve also finished coding, posing, and rendering about 820 lines of script. This chapter will have less action but will be heavier on dialogue, character development, and stakes. We’re reaching the two-thirds mark of the first book, so some plotlines are starting to see their resolutions, while the “final” plot is also beginning to take shape. This chapter will be one of the richest in terms of the world our heroes live in and might shake up the overall tone a bit. But don’t worry—while the world might be about to change, the tone of the game itself will remain the same. That said, it’s a “living” world, and naturally, the stakes will have to grow bigger and bigger as the story progresses. Fighting two or three thugs in an alley or putting out a house fire is sweet, but let’s be real... the future of Glowing Stones is way more epic than “just” that (though, granted, that’s already much more than in many AVNs, I’ll admit)!
So, the numbers:
250 renders posed
820 lines of script fully completed
1,200 lines of dialogue waiting to be scripted
21 animations (though nothing huge—more like animations for Laina’s voice or the HUD of the suit, for example).
Thanks for sticking around and for your support—it means a lot!

The one thing you can be sure of. This game has a lot of potential for the future. The story and quality are good. From what I have seen you are doing the right things to get the game found by players. I will leave you with my favorite quote of all time. "I am an old man and I have seen a lot of troubles ... but most of them never happened. Mark Twain.
Keep up the good work dev
thank you :)
Get healthy and stay healthy. And take the time you need. I think very selfishly and in the long term. Not that you slack before the end. 😉
thank you, and don't worry, I've done one big burnout in my life, I'll protect myself, to be able to deliver all the story of those Glowing Stones and the heroes!
