Animations, everywhere!
Hello there!
Quick progress report. These last few weeks, I've been working a lot on superpowers. Two in particular. Indeed, until now, "visual" powers have all been used in static renders. Not in animations. It's easier because the classic assets I use are made for that. But here's the thing... I want to make them into animations because it's just so much cooler! So, I learned how to do it, and frankly... It's not easy! Basically, you have to do the posing in Daz, send the characters, their animations, the necessary scenery elements, and possibly other moving elements to Blender, then in Blender do all the special effect. Bring it back into Daz, adjust it properly, and finally set everything up to render. But hey, I'm quite happy with the result, and it bodes well for the future! Indeed, I'll be able to apply these techniques throughout the story, so I think it's a good investment! :)
Moreover, almost the entire chapter is written. I only have two scenes left to write, but I will do that during the posing for those.
As for the progress:
470 static renders
2200 animation frames (about 37 seconds)
1900 lines of script and 1550 more to script
1745 lines with render
I know it might seem like the numbers haven't increased much, but between the animations and the completion of the writing, it's actually a significant, especially qualitative, advancement! :)
See you next time, and thank you for your support!
PS : the render quality is not very good because it's for animation ;) I'll maybe do one in best quality for the special render quality, but nobody have given me idea of special render yet...

People always underestimate how much effort goes into GOOD projects like this. Going from an idea to starting to organize the story, the writing(which is what makes great projects great), then there are the visuals, the artistic style, and there are a lot of choices as well, harem style, or actually having relationships where there may be conflicts, so things can branch out a bit(if you make this choice, then other things may not even happen, how others treat the character may change). I love the overall vibe in this project, and I am really looking forward to seeing, not just where the story goes, but also how the quality will improve as Moonlight gains more experience. Looking at other developers that I follow, you can see how EVERYTHING gets better as the game "seasons" progress. The key has to always be, "is the story entertaining?" and then, "do you grow to really enjoy the characters?".
thank you! :)
I love making animations too :p for the special render, I think I'll do a special post only for that :)
Wow, I was nearly getting a headache 😵💫 just thinking about the amount of work it takes to get even one animation 😄. People love them though (me included). And I think that must be a "hint" about the special render 🤔.
