<Lore Description>

A Sword Ki Master is one of the specialisations for a Haki Master. They are the wielders of Sword Ki, a special form of Haki honed and refined purely to sharpen one's blades.

While infusing Ki into one's sword to enhance it, or even creating swords purely made of Ki is nothing new even in other schools, Sword Ki is unique such that even the very essence of it radiates sharpness and killing intent. Even touching stray strands of Sword Ki can cut just as deep as a normal blade would, and Sword Ki manifested into actual swords can potentially cut away even space and dimensions. In addition, Sword Ki is also extremely adaptive. The user can alter its properties even more fluidly compared to other forms of Ki, turning them into various shapes, and sometimes even elements like fire and shadow.

Contrasting the path of Hero's Haki, masters of Sword Ki tend to express their Ki purely in individual action instead of camaraderie. While their temperaments vary from thrill-seeking to tranquil, all share a common trait of having a preference of singular combat, where most of them have little interest in fighting alongside others. To reflect this, most of the techniques taught and trained are focused on single combat, with little to no techniques that are meant to support others.

Naturally, this class is rather trendy for budding Swordsmen, who seek to bring their blade to new heights. Likewise, there are just as many sects, particularly in Asia, that train this particular Ki.

As a Sword Ki Master, one gains the following class features, upon reaching the specified levels of proficiency in this class:

• Level 1: Paralysing Aura

  • The initial, passive form of Sword Ki. Without even drawing their blade, the user's aura has an overwhelming nature, which paralyses people to their very core, sometimes to the point that they even have trouble breathing.

• Level 2: Kabuki

  • The first technique of Sword Ki. Channeling a small amount of Sword Ki into their blade, the user then releases a flurry of rapid sword strikes. These strikes are fast but impactful, resonating into the opponent's body even if they had successfully blocked or parried the initial impacts.

• Level 3: Three Style Parting Wind

  • The second technique of Sword Ki. Focusing their Sword Ki into the tip of their blade, the user then shoots out Sword Ki from said tip. The shot is powerful enough to pierce through logs and rock.

• Level 4: Fiery Sword Technique

  • A passive technique of Sword Ki. The user's Sword Ki takes the form of heat and flames in response to the user's burning passion, allowing the user's strikes to be infused with fire.

• Level 5: Sword Force

  • An advancement to Sword Ki usage. The user converges the mist-like Sword Ki around their sword into thin, thread-like shapes that surround the weapon, increasing the potency of the Sword Ki, turning it into a true tangible, powerful force.

• Level 6: One Way of Heart

  • The first advancement to Paralysing Aura, taking the form of a hypnosis technique. The user is able to channel their Sword Ki into the eyes of their target, hypnotising them to do their bidding. The user can also use this technique on themselves, implanting a suggestion on themselves to awaken their full potential.

• Level 7: Eight-Step Sword Lunge

  • A footwork technique that utilises Sword Ki. By infusing their feet with Sword Ki, the user can travel with much greater speed and efficiency, covering a hundred meters with a single step. It is particularly effective when used in conjunction with Three Style Parting Wind, allowing the user to fall countless enemies in one quick motion.

• Level 8: Sword Gu

  • The advanced form of Three Style Parting Wind. The user points their middle and index finger at their target, and fires a burst of translucent Sword Ki at their target. It is twice as powerful as the Three Style Parting Wind.

• Level 9: Heavenly Lights

  • A special technique of Sword Ki. Gathering and compressing all of their Sword Ki within themselves, the user then releases it in the form of an omnidirectional burst of light, that sends opponents flying. It is often seen as a last resort to finish off opponents, as using the technique greatly exhausts the user afterwards.

• Level 10: Sword Ki Manifestation

  • The first advancement to Sword Force. The user's Sword Ki aura can now be shaped into physical form, allowing the user to create weapons made purely of Sword Ki from their hands.

• Level 11: Sword Ki Golden Body Incantation

  • The second advancement to Paralysing Aura. The user's Sword Ki becomes fully internalised and suffused within their body, giving it a radiant glow. In this state, the user has an enhanced healing factor, and their passive aura is now potent enough to induce physical harm to those who stand close to their vicinity, who are slashed apart by countless invisible slashes.

• Level 12: Sword Ki Ring

  • The advanced form of Kabuki. The user generates translucent rings of Sword Ki from their blade, which is then fired at their opponent. These rings cut heavily, and have a partial homing effect on targets. As with its predecessor, it is particularly potent when used in conjunction with Eight-Step Sword Lunge.

• Level 13: Ten Thousand Swords

  • The advanced form of Sword Gu. The user conjures ten thousand waves of Sword Ki from their sword, which can either be released omnidirectionally, or converged into one. Each wave poses little damage, but can be extremely lethal should more and more of these waves be converged. When all ten thousand waves are fired as one, it is reputedly powerful enough to pulverise even the strongest demons to nothing.

• Level 14: Six-Path Sword Shadow

  • A special technique of Sword Ki. The user can detach their Sword Ki to generate duplicates of themselves. The upper limit to this technique is commonly six, though some outliers have been observed. Each duplicate has powerful attacks almost rivaling the original, but are very fragile.

• Level 15: Evil Sword Technique

  • The second advancement to Sword Force. The user's aura is transformed with the user's tempered malice, now letting their Sword Ki take upon a demonic, cold and sinister sensation. Their Sword Ki becomes stronger both physically and conceptually, being able to even negate the Sword Ki of others who are not also tempered with malice.

• Level 16: Emperor's Way Thousand Hand Sword Buddha

  • The advanced form of Sword Ki Golden Body Incantation, which also utilises the principles of Sword Ki Manifestation. The user's bodily Sword Ki takes the form of a Buddha with a thousand hands, each hand holding a sword. This projection is extremely powerful, being able to destroy the Heavens and the Earth.

• Level 17: Illusion Cloud 9 Sword Strike

  • The advanced form of Sword Ki Ring. The rings generated from the Sword Ki Ring technique are evolved into whirlpools, letting the user conjure a tornado of spinning Sword Ki with each and every strike.

• Level 18: Ten Thousand Sword Dragon Incantation

  • The advanced form of Ten Thousand Swords. The user conjures countless dragons shaped out of Sword Ki from their sword, which encircle and destroy all resistance in sight. The maximum number of dragons that can be created, as the technique's name suggests, is ten thousand. Just like its predecessor, the dragons can be converged into one, ultimate dragon for maximum power.

• Level 19: Sword of Solitude

  • A special technique of Sword Ki. The user's Sword Ki becomes refined to become a distortion in space itself, allowing the user's slashes to sever space, time and even concepts.

• Level 20: Sword Ki Profound Mastery

  • The user's Sword Ki becomes Boundless, being able to shatter countless obstacles and laws. This move is sometimes also known as the Ultimate Chaos Dao.
