There are three constants in life... change, choice and principles. (Stephen Covey)
The Principles are a special class of Gods, who either possess an innate Principle, or are the manifestations of said Principle. Principles are generally a higher state beyond standard Deities, Cosmic Entities, Primordial Entities and Abstract Entities. This is because principles are the complete and fundamental underlying nature behind everything or anything. Without principles, there can be no concepts.
Principles are not equal to each other, and there are multiple ranks of Principles, one of higher rank being more powerful and all-encompassing than the one of lower-rank. They are generally split into two kinds: Human Principles and Divine Principles. Human Principles are the down-to-earth, humanely-understood principles, while Divine Principles are the esoteric, mystic, less-understood principles. It must not be misunderstood that the Divine Principles are completely unbound to human cognition, however. All the Principles are ultimately shaped by human cognition, but the Divine Principles do take a deeper step into the unnatural and esoteric compared to the Human Principles.
The Human Principles are still somewhat able to be overcome by very powerful Gods, as their domains are only over the general, commonly-used concepts of humanity. However, the possibility of ever hoping to defeat a Divine Principle is as good as zero, to those not possessing extremely potent attributes beyond the regular divine being.
While rather powerful, Principles are ultimately no more than a starting point as an evolution to a God, and merely lay the foundation to even more powerful states of being.
