I hate that I'm commenting to be one of those guys, but Pete Rose did play for the Phillies briefly.
Agree with Rodgers - Lanterns is rough, the behind the scenes is the best part. It is unbelievably boring, virtually none of the characters are likeable, it just feels like a huge ass letdown.
Wasn't Jamie Bell a guest on "Blank Check" once?
Yeah. He was on episode 297, that aired on November 8, 2020, to discuss Robert Zemeckis's 1997 film Contact during the "Podcast Away" miniseries.
So I’m relistening to all the eps from the beginning and I’m currently on Dec ‘21 Shadow Wolves where they start off with the William Robert Thornton interview and they keep calling the interviewer M Night Shyamalan and it’s funny but I just wanted to point out that it’s actually Jian Gomeshi who was a super popular radio host/journalist until he was accused of multiple accounts of sexual assault. He was acquitted but his career never came back.
Have you ever seen a one trick ActionBoy running wild and free
The Wrestler is still a valid portrait but it's pretty hard to feel bad for Randy knowing more about wrestling. He would've had to be a real prick and make all the worst choices to be in that shape. Even Warrior was speaking at colleges and made it into the HOF before he died.
Well not every wrestler was picked up by WWE/WWF, nor would every wrestler put up with McMahon’s humiliating bullshit
Jensen Ackles just announced as Lucas Davenport in Rules Of Prey
One very silly thing about Neagley is she only wears T’s from local Chicago businesses.
The Boyz needs a spin-off podcast called "Stanger Hates". It would have enough material for at least once a week for five years.
Coming into Halloween, people might find the 1973 Montreal film “The Pyx” aka “The Hooker Cult Murders” interesting. It stars Karen Black, who also sings all the songs on the soundtrack. Worth at least watching the first ten minutes to see the 1970s Montreal police dispatch room. https://archive.org/details/the-pyx-1973
Chat Pile on Guys and now a mention in ABZ. Chat Pilers really eating this week. I saw them like a few months ago and they fucking rocked. Great banter too.
They were shouted out on the Doughboys Double yesterday too
