The Tobolowsky Files is great. I listened to a random episode last night. He talked about living in NYC in the 80’s, doing blow with Bruce Willis, and having a mouse as a roommate (not a pet). He’s an amazing storyteller.
When Stanger announced the prone nuts rating system i was walking on the treadmill at Planet Fitness and was drinking some water, i started laughing and then choking, spit water all over the treadmill, and flew off. 5 Stars.

Wow, I haven’t seen this movie in years. When Bridget Fonda is all taped up in the chair, Front 242’s “Rhythm of Time” plays. I was deep into industrial and electronic music in the 90’s and it’s weird to see it in this context.
I must be crazy but for the first 30 minutes of this episode I had this movie switched in my head with “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”. I got very surprised when I didn’t hear any references to Annabella Sciorra or Ernie Hudson. But am I crazy or did that movie also feature a scene where Rebecca De Mornay tricked Sciorra’s boyfriend into unknowingly having sex with her?
De Mornay never tricked Sciorra’s husband into sleeping with her, but she breastfed a baby that wasn’t hers and said “don’t fuck with me, retard” to Ernie Hudson
The producer of that Brad Pitt dog movie did come out and say that the dog doesn’t die. That’s how worried they are about people not going to see it, since that seems like a pretty big reveal before it’s even out.
I was a freshman in college ‘96/97 and my friend told me he twisted his nuts from humping his bed (I’m guessing too enthusiastically, maybe the freedom from being away from his parents got to him, I dunno) which I found very wild. So Stanger isn’t wrong by suggesting the “supine” position for any jacking.

Does the clogged toilet valve thing actually work? I assume once you flush it is emptying the tank and no valve will stop it…wouldn’t turning the valve accomplish the same as not flushing again?
It does work but you have to shut the water pretty quick. That way you only get the water from the tank for the flush and not the water to refill the bowl. Unfortunately most tanks have more than enough water to overfill the bowel. But it cuts down on a bigger mess.

I remember the “dangerously peaceful Steven Seagal” clip from TV Carnage, but it looked like it could have been from the MTV Movie Awards (no idea when). Also, shoutout to apartment hunting in the LES in the early to mid aughts! It felt like every apartment was above or below a restaurant and had all of the worlds’ cockroaches, and if you were interviewing at apartments with male and female roommates, one guy was invariably a keep-bottles-of-piss-in-his-room level weirdo!
