Stanger, have you ever met Airforce Amy? I watched the old HBO doc Cathouse and she was in it. I know you've brought her up before and was wondering if you ran into her during your bouncer/security days for dancers.
I just remembered that Lee Majors was on a Western called "The Big Valley" in the 60's. I just looked it up and it was only four seasons, but it was on every Sunday afternoon my entire childhood in syndication.
ben is uncharacteristically jovial this episode
Sauna trivia: they put a cuck chair in the recording booth for inspiration when the intro theme song vocal track was laid down
Had a Grandfather that was in a motorcycle club in the 70's, I've got a pic of him with a swastika on his jacket, it's surreal to see.
When I was in the sixth grade, we had an assignment where we had to write and draw a children's book for a kid in the second grade. We met with our kids to ask them what they liked. My kid liked the Hulk and The Fall Guy, which were both still on TV in 1981/82. I could draw and I worked my ass off on it. I gave it to the kid and he looked me right in the face and said he hated it.
Hey this is really funny and good
Mad Dog is still on Long Island, driving a blacked out Ram 1500.
I'm with Gabrus on the Hannah Waddingham crush. But any time I feel a stalkery feeling come on I just watch one of her live Motown-style vocal performances and it shuts off all my feelings about everything.
I'm guessing this studio is Wes' (of Office Hours / ForeverDog) new recording space? Lately the boyz have been alternating between that and the ForeverDog digs. Looks good.
Yo Martin!! This is Forever Dog too. The soundstage.
For some reason (Dailymotion screwup possibly) I watched a completely different episode in which Majors and his himbo sidekick have to get fake locked up in jail in order to settle something with an inmate. It's a Longest Yard reunion of sorts, the inmate is played by "Jaws" himself, Richard Kiel, and one of the other featured jailbirds is bald-headed tough guy Robert Tessier, who played killer/martial artist Shokner in 'Yard'. Decent ep with some funny set pieces, incredibly convoluted story though.
I watched this one too. -_-
Makes me wish there were videos of Hollywood Masterclass
Rodgers looking like Mick Foley in this ep and I'm here for it
He just needs a sock on his hand.
I really like the Gosling Fall Guy but is very much trying too hard to be a spiritual sequel to The Nice Guys which it can’t hold a candle to
If they changed the plot to involve a Segal stand-in trying to save Segal from organized crime, then we’d have a picture.
A little something for the DM 😂
I like the Charlie Rose black void set. It beats having a bookshelf with fake fern, and books leaning to the side in the background.
widows bay episode 1 has me crying laughing
The D&D cold opens are a treat! I need to see Gabrus do this with an old-school DM’s screen (the older D&D heads know exactly the one I’m envisioning).
D&D in the 1980s and no mention of Darr? Now I have my FOMO.
charlie rose studio
That’s what I thought, too. It’s like if members of Rose’s crew shot their own thing late at night.
also the camera set up and lighting is great yet again
guys again I’m sorry but the D&D opens are great and sadly, I would pay to hear more. I would.
That train hitting the car in the opening credits is from the ending of Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry

+1 for Widow's Bay I have been watching with my kid we both like it.
Parks and Rec + Stephen King, love it
When are they gonna eat the hot wings?
After Charlie Rose comes out in a bath robe
The D&D cold-opens are incredible. I could watch hours of this nonsense.
Holy hell, hilarious.
