Hi, sorry for the long delay, but yes, if you remove the override, you will lose access to the rewards. The overrides remove the bits of code that lock the items, without them, the code is reinstated.

Not gonna lie here. Because I'm not updating anymore, these events are finally meaningless on my end, so good riddance, because these events are annoying on purpose. These were literally my biggest pep peeve about The Sims 4, but now I can finally work on what I need to in peace and no longer get frustrated because an in-your-face Reward Event is just all like, "Hey you! Do what we say so you can get stuff!" Literally was never my intention for getting into The Sims 4 in the first place, and I'm probably not alone in saying this.
