๐โข๏ธ BRUNO: Trinidad & Tobago -- [6/20] ๐ฌ The T&T police service, at the behest of my government, is arresting anyone and everyone protesting the fatal police shooting of Joshua Samaroo, as they blame his girlfriend, Kaia Sealy, for them riddling him with bullets. Meanwhile, my government keeps validating Donald Trump's corrupt bullshit, now by implying, without providing evidence, that every 1%-er who had their U.S. Visa revoked, is a secret criminal. !@#$ all of these people.
๐ I am not suicidal. Just saying. The comment in the screenshot in the first entry, was made on a public post belonging to a politician who used to criticize corruption, who has since fallen in line after being given a spot in the current administration. People have been arrested and charged for saying shit on social media. However, a lot of those people were inciting violence against politicians, which is an utterly fucking stupid thing to do. Yuh doh post people address and tell people to bomb dem. Wham to you? Yuh dotish, owah?
๐พ My toxic narcissist mother has been escalating, which is one of the reasons I kept disappearing. I've been mentally exhausted. Thankfully the unofficial "heat spell" that my country was experiencing seems to have passed, so the physical exhaustion is gone-ish. I apologize for being away for so long.
๐๏ธ Ah hear a madman bawl, as he spread out on a wall. He say, "This is it, this is it, this is it, I've been hit!" But no time to give up brother, no time to quit! -- David Rudder released this song in 1996 or 1997. That's 30 years ago, a.k.a. most of my life, and every lyric is still as applicable today, as it was back then, including "rat still killing man". I'll give you some commentary on some of these lyrics when I get around to talking about the shit going on in my country.
โ// โ 5/4/2026 - THAT COMMENT ON FACEBOOK:
Any Trinidadian here, or anyone who knows our politicians, will know who it is that I'm responding to. I used to have some level of respect for that man.
He made a post criticizing a politician from the opposition for using an endearing term to address another politician while in parliament.
Like I said in the comment, keep romance out of parliament. That ain't the fuckin' place for it.
But also, Trinidad is chock-full of bigots, while apparently having a considerable number of queer folks (from what I'm seeing on Tinder and Grindr anyway) who are, y'know, keeping their heads down and trying to get by, while the bigots run wild and brainwash everyone with their fucking bigotry.
Look, I get it. No shade, I really do.
Not everyone is cut out for this, but some of us need to do it.
It's even in the Bible for those theists out there who have forgotten how to cherry-pick the actual good shit in their holy books:
Proverbs 31:8-9
Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy.
I can cherry-pick that shit too, and "interpret" it to mean that I'm supposed to stand up for anyone and everyone deserving of it, regardless of race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or lack of religion, etc.
I know I go really hard on theists, but if they were being irrationally and wrongfully persecuted, I'd stand up for them too, and they are in some places, but it's often by other theists from other religions.
That's not to say that there aren't so-called leftists out there sending death threats and rape threats to theists simply for being theists.
I've had my eyes opened after having conversations with some of you privately. It doesn't mean that I stop criticizing theists, it just means that I also criticize non-theists and "leftists".
We gon' get there eventually.
There are vile and degenerate people everywhere, and we should be willing to stand up to all of them, no matter who they are, or what they claim to stand for.
