💤 I totes didn't fall asleep after starting the update. It's nice to wake up and find the internet is still alive. It's working fine so far, I just need to redo my networking so I can get an Ethernet cable from the ISP router to my PC.
⚠️ I also need to "fix" my PC. I think my OS (primary) drive is dying. It's been doing some weird !@#$ for a few months now. I need to swap out the drive and reinstall Windows 10 on another drive, then do software setup. I'll do this either later this week or next week. I ironed out the cockroaches while I was offline, but they gon' pop back up sooner or later.
⚙️ I updated a whole bunch of non-CASO mods for Update 11/4/2025 while I was offline. Expect a whole lotta pings over the next few days and into next week as I verify and push them out. Now that I have my own internet, is time to oil this machine.

Is it "desperate times call for desperate measures" or "well, we're getting away with everything else right now, so let's tick this box too"? We're fast-tracking ourselves into the type of dystopian future seen in fiction. I understand that not everyone can digest all this !@#$ all the time like me, but you need to be aware of what's happening in the world, because what you don't know can still harm you. As always, everything needs to update, whether or not they're causing errors.
I still haven't been able to get that one modification to work in "My Beautiful Squishy", A.K.A. my rebuild of "Expandable BuilldBuy Catalog" because TMEX ignored it for almost (2) !@#$in' years! I tigress! I found the necessary SGFX resource, but there's still a hiccup. I've identified the lines of custom code causing the hiccup. I just need to understand why they're causing the hiccup, and then maybe I can make it work.
Update my "SGFX Patches", if necessary.❓
Better BuildBuy patch is outdated.

Whoa, baby, I have my own internet now. While I don't need reliable internet to update those mods on my end, the lack of internet for the last month and the unreliable internet for the past almost (2) years has been frustrating as heck! We'll get it done.

No excuses now and no more "THE INTERNET DIDOED AGAIN, OH NOSE!" delays. After I update SGFX mods and push the AnimXGenWear compatibility update (the current release works but it's missing fairy code) I'll prioritize CAS Filters. I know I've been saying that for a while, but I has internet now!

[EA Forums] Child, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, and Elder Sims will once again no longer have clothing visible under their privacy mosaic. However, the cause of the issue is different for other ages, and we’re still investigating those instances to hopefully fix in an upcoming update.

Unfortunately, they still haven't fixed the PARTFLAGS on our NudePart Bottoms or Feet (Shoes), so our Sims can still randomize with the wrong Bottoms and all Sims will still have Feminine Frame EAxis feet, which absolutely ruins "Resource Override" feet replacements because all newly generated Male Sims have Feminine Frame feet.

[EA Forums] We fixed an instance of Save Corruption that was resulting in Error Code 109:4fe45107:239aa048. In the save we received, there was a Clone Sim that had a Household status set incorrectly in our code. We fixed it so if a Household is in this state it will no longer crash the game upon trying to load the game. If this error happens in other ways, new save files shared with us will be beneficial in uncovering the cause. (Business & Hobbies, Get to Work)
[EA Forums] Sims who dislike Mischief or Singing will no longer autonomously do mischievous behaviors or sing. (Base Game, City Living)
Sims will no longer receive a text from their Pet about missing curfew.

[EA Forums] Male Gallery Sims will no longer have high-pitched voices. Their correct voice tone will be used. This fix is not retroactive and will only affect future saves going forward.
Wait, wait, wait... This was a "bug"?! So all those complaints... SMH.
[EA Forums] We fixed an instance of Save Corruption that was resulting in Error code: 123:b378c837: In this Save, a Sim was dead, a ghost, and min LOD (Not actively engaged with by the player), which was causing some code around Small Business careers to crash the game on load. We made it so that if a Sim is referenced in this situation the game will not crash when trying to load.
