🦄 PSA: I got my... what is this monstrosity called - the "creator page"? Patreon must have rolled it out for everyone.

So, I dunno if this is how it's always been, but we can customize the layout of the "creator page" thing! When I first saw it on another creator's account way back when, I went to the Patreon Discord Server and inquired about it, and I'm certain I mentioned that I hoped we'd be able to customize it. While I don't think I had anything to do with it being customizable, I am glad that it is.

I've customized mine with the following layout:

1. Latest Post

2. Featured Post -- Announcements (ERRTHANG ON ZE FRITZ)

3. Featured Post -- AnimXGenWear

4. Featured Post -- CAS Filters

5. Featured Post -- FOMO: All-in-One Live Events Rewards Unlocker

6. Recent Posts

7. Popular Posts -- Since I don't do new posts for updates, you never have to worry that you're seeing an outdated post - maybe just an outdated mod? 😹🐱

8. All Collections

9. Collection -- BUGFIXES & BAND-AIDS

10. Collection -- SGFX Overrides (Standalone)

11. Collection -- SGFX Patches

12. Collection -- RESO: Silence the Noise

I might add more Collections to the layout. I'll also try to spruce up my Patreon soon.

I need to overhaul my "About" and condense it to (3) lines (I might just duplicate my "The Home of [...]" tagline), and I still need to finish overhauling my Tags and fix and reorder my Collections. The shoddy internet ruins my patience and prevents me from doing this efficiently, sorry. We'll get there eventually.

Patreon has made a few other changes recently:

1. HYPERLINKS -- They finally gave us back the ability to use text formatting on links and linked text, then crippled it and made all links and linked text permanently underlined and off-color. It's an improvement at least on how it was before. I will still be doing my little "[🌐]" because I don't trust these people. 😹 Unfortunately, this makes the manual "link-shortening" that I do a little more irritating because now I need to press and hold a modifier key to bypass the obnoxious "open this link" prompt whenever I try to click on it to delete text. 🎙️ I want it my way! #EntitledPatreonCreatorProblems

2. IN-LINE ATTACHMENT OPTIONS -- Have been overhauled a bit. We can still only attach images in the body of posts, but the in-line options now include a "shortcut" for attaching files to the post (down at the bottom) which is... nice I guess? This is where that in-line "PAID CONTENT BEGINS HERE" divider is. I can take a screenshot of it but I can't add it to the post because I have no subscription tiers.

3. TEXT FORMATTING -- We've got a couple new options including numbered lists and we can align text left or center.

4. NEW POST LAYOUT -- We now have a sidebar with the post options, which is... nice? But they removed the scroll bar for the post body, which is annoying as !@#$.

5. NOTIFICATIONS -- Are still trash.

Overall, it's an improvement to how it was before, but I really wish they'd overhaul notifications so that they don't suck.

Baby steps I suppose. Patreon is only (12) years old, after all. This is sarcasm. 😹

Cheers! Back to modding!

I think my mind is finally back "in the zone". 😺
