😿 I've been asked multiple times about this, but it's not something I can do yet, at least not like how I've unlocked the Live Event Rewards. I could be mistaken, but I think the code for it is squirreled away in "the Elsweyr place", and I cannot modify Elsweyr code yet.

DIGITAL Pre-Order Bonuses is anti-consumer bullshit - it's artificially manufactured FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) - it's the precursor to bullshit like Limited-Time Live Event Rewards.

The only good DIGITAL Pre-Order Bonus is one that don't exist, or one that they allow you to buy for a few dollars after a few months. I would accept the latter, though I prefer the former.

Notice I specify DIGITAL Pre-Order Bonuses.

I don't feel the same way about PHYSICAL Pre-Order Bonuses or "Limited-Edition" PHYSICAL Rewards. Those super awesome statues or plushies, etc. that some folks do as rewards are fine, kinda - they can still be problematic for folks with spending addictions, but that's a different topic.

DIGITAL Pre-Order Bonuses are ones and zeroes that never run out of stock and never run out of materials to make them.

Just sell the !@#$ for $1.99 after release and make some extra dosh, catdammit. 😾

[✔️] FIRE UP THE CLONING MACHINE, JIMMY -- Shirley someone has done this already. You can just clone the items with Sims 4 Studio. At least... I assume this works. The code locking these items should function similarly to the code that locks the Live Event Rewards, and that code identifies the items by their unique "instance identifiers", hence the reason clones should work.

[❌] ELSWEYR CODE -- I found some code recently that concerns "entitlements" (which is the umbrella term used for these kinda things), but I haven't followed up with it yet.

xSavannahx987 [🌐] is the only creator I know of who does a lot of BGC conversions, but I have no idea if they've done all of the Pre-Order Bonuses.

If someone really wants me to do it, I could set aside some time and just clone all of the items to unlock them if you have the required Pack.

I've also been considering doing a special "CAS Override" to unlock those "hidden" items in CAS, a.k.a. the items that those "CAS Unlock Sims" (that I despise so much) unlock. There's another creator who has already done this and keeps their mod updated, but... y'know, I'm very particular about my PartFlags and TAGS and I have not looked at their mod to see if the PartFlags and TAGS are any good. When I remember who it is (or find the mod again) I'll link to them.

Look, I know it sounds kinda bad when I imply that other creators don't know what the !@#$ they're doing with their PartFlags and TAGS, but a large percentage of the community doesn't understand PartFlags and TAGS - heck, even EAxis don't understand their own PartFlags and TAGS, and they create them! I just woke up. I don't know how else to say it to make it sound nicer. Sorry.

This isn't ego and I'm not trying to be an arsehole. I will eventually finish my PartFlags and TAGS posts and I will happily point folks to them whenever I notice something awry, so that they can fix and improve their content.
