☢️ InZOI apparently already has a content theft problem. -- I'm just trying to close some tabs and I noticed a post about it.

THIS TOTES QUALIFIES AS A RANT.

I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME READING ONE OF MY RANTS.

YOU'RE WELCOME TO IGNORE THIS.

I DO THIS FOR PERPETUITY.

I have but one question (I have many, but let's focus on one).

Why do we do these things to each other?

I'm one to talk, right? What with my "XMODTko" and my "SGFX Patches" and my "Custom Content CAS Overrides" and "MY BEAUTIFUL SQUISHY"... but I do those things to either fix issues or enhance the work. I am still very much laboring under the 🎙️ But I'm only a man, and I do what I can, when I can, when I'm here.

I know this issue is more complex than these few sentences make it out to be.

Maybe I'll expand on this one day.

We can all agree though that outright theft without even the courtesy to give credit should be frowned upon, just like creators doxxing their paying members for sharing their premium content should be frowned upon, and so many other unsavory behaviors folks tend to convince themselves they're in the right about.

EA and EAxis is also reportedly keeping a close eye on InZOI so they can totes copy everything they think folks like about InZOI if InZOI is a success, which means they're absolutely full of !@#$ and don't actually intend to allot the required resources or hire the necessary amount of employees to make The Sims 5 (whenever it happens) a good game.

Their takeaway will be the same !@#$ they've been pushing since they burned the SimCity franchise to the ground, and that is: ALWAYS (PIRACY) ONLINE FEATURES, GAMES AS A SERVICE, MICROTRANSATIONS, AND PHOTO-REALISTIC GRAPHICS are "the future and totes what the players want!!!!!1111111111" and when/if it fails, they will whine about the game not meeting expectations and then bury the franchise.

The Sims 4 is already successful, and would be more successful if they would only treat the game and us, the consumers, with some !@#$ing respect.

THERE'S THE RANT.

Now back to work.
