π± [SP64] CAS Review for Sweet Allure Kit -- Limited Bloatβ’ + PartFlags are "fine" = This Kit is fine. -- [5/10] π CAS Overrides now available!
Apparently this Kit contains some "Recycled Frankenmesh Content."
Frankenmeshing is what we call chopping up and stitching together bits of already-existing CAS meshes to make a new item. I don't really have anything against it if the end result looks... good, I guess?
There are numerous CAS content creators who do this for clothes and hair, and it's quite possible that EAxis has done it before and sold it to us as "new content".
Frankenmeshing is something I kinda understand how to do, but I've just not done it yet, kinda like how my anonymous friend taught me how to "convert" clothes between age groups and I just haven't gotten around to it yet because "priorities", etc.

Look, I just figured out how to make custom filters in CAS, I do not care about new content right now. πΉ We'll do this later.
Later has arrived.

β// - PRELIMINARY REVIEW:
An almost perfect Kit "by EAxis' standards", but they just couldn't help themselves with the catdamned Bloatβ’, could they?
Yuh had to sneak it into at least one catdamned item, didn't ya, EAxis?
I haven't seen a lot of this creator's content outside of this Creator Kit, but third-party custom content creators generally don't Bloatβ’ their items.
No "Restrict Opposite Gender" flags, but unnecessary "Restrict Opposite Frame" flags are everywhere.
I will add AHarris00Britney's filter TAG to all items whenever I override this Creator Kit.
β// - CLASS IN SESSION:
Whenever I'm talking about third-party PartFlags and I say "they're fine" or "they're fine by EAxis' standards", what I mean is that there's little to no "Restrict Opposite Gender" flags but there is unnecessary "Restrict Opposite Frame" flags on TOPS, BOTTOMS, FULL BODY, and SHOES (footwear, but not including FEET).
Those FOUR (4) categories work perfectly without "Restrict Opposite Frame" flags, as long as the other flags are configured properly - specifically the "Fashion Choice" flag.
"Restrict Opposite Frame" is MANDATORY on some other CAS items, e.g. DEFAULT FEET REPLACEMENTS, FINGERNAILS, TOENAILS, HAIR, JEWELRY (if they are "frame-specific"), etc.
"Restrict Opposite Gender" is almost NEVER required on anything - except CHILD underwear because they use the same "NudeParts", and TEEN+ "NudeParts" (this is "subjective", which I know is confusing without a proper explanation). I'm sure there's a few other instances where "Restrict Opposite Gender" is required but they're so few and far between that I can't think of any right now.
I do know what I'm talking about. πΉ
I've been overriding CAS content for years.

Thanks to my anonymous friend, I can now fix Bloatβ’ - https://../posts/118803299

"Deadlinesβ’" is my way of acknowledging that EA is the true villain.
