๐ [BG/EFDec24] Cozy Celebrations - CAS Override
This is a standalone MERGED CAS Override for the Cozy Celebrations Live Event Rewards that fixes EAxis' improper PartFlags, but also overhauls certain PartFlags in order to remove restrictions on certain CAS items so all sims have access to them while maintaining order in CAS.
Keep in mind that OUR BODIES ARE STILL BROKEN - WHAT THE !@#$?! - and wearing clothing that don't match your "Physical Frame" will result in horrible body deformities along your spine.

โโ CAS OVERRIDES:
I don't see the need for an item by item changelog for this override, so let's discuss this nonsense instead.
Currently all CAS items are flagged for both Feminine and Masculine "Fashion Choice". With the accompanying "ROFrame" flag enabled on almost everything, and "ROGender" getting the boot, CAS clothing items are locked to the sim's Physical Frame, which is fine. Had EAxis not screwed this up royally for the past TEN (10) years, I could live with it, but that ship has sailed.
All "Allow For Random" flags are disabled. Awesome!
"Display Index" is missing, but that's fine here cause we want "0" to group it with all other Base Game "0" items.
"Secondary Display Index" is missing. This is the swatch order. Not fine.
All "Restrict Opposite Gender" flags are disabled. Thank goodness! This is the bane of every "transframe" sim's existence.
All CAS items except that one slipper swatch appears to be properly "Restrict Opposite Frame" flagged. That's fine, at least by EAxis' standard.
A few "Color" flags need fixing. Not many.
To unrestrict all CAS clothing items while maintaining order, I match "Fashion Choice" flags to "Gender" (Sex) flags and remove all "Restrict Opposite" flags. The result is all clothing items made with the FEMALE frame/model/rig/mesh/whatchamacallit will appear under "Feminine Fashion Choice" and vice versa for MALE clothing and the "Masculine Fashion Choice", giving you the choice to wear whatever you want, whenever you want.
No "Fashion Stereotype Patch" is needed here, but when necessary, I make them to reorder things for simmers who find my approach odd, because doing this my way will put skirts and dresses, etc. made with the MALE frame/model/rig/mesh/whatchamacallit under "Masculine Fashion Choice" - I am more concerned with making sure you know what you're wearing than with real world fashion stereotypes, because EAxis has historically made a mess of these flags. These specific clothing items intentionally have their "Allow For Random" flags disabled so you don't need to worry about them randomizing onto male sims with or without the patch. I have no problem making these patches. I'm all-inclusive, baby!
โโ EVIL! THEY'VE COME TO TELL YOU THAT I'M EVIL, MOST DEFINITELY! EVIL, ORNERY, SCANDALOUS, AND DID THEY MENTION EVIL? MOST DEFINITELY!
This is the FOURTH content release we've had that wasn't a complete PartFlag disaster and the THIRD in a row. EAxis might be getting better at this. It only took them TEN (10) years. Hopefully they can keep it up and improve. It'll lessen the amount of post-release tweaking I have to do.
