🎁 [BG+] My Little Animation Overrides +🎓 I want to add a DIY for this, so this is me reminding myself to do it.

Sweet dreams are indeed made of this because those horse-face smiles are nightmare fuel. Look, I like ponies as much as the next horse girl, I just don't like them on my sim's face. 🐎

It's about time this got it's own post, don't you think? Folks seem to love these little things. Dun fret, we'll do some more eventually.

These animations overrides include "Full Body Animation" overrides and "Face Overlay" overrides.

Full Body Animations are self-explanatory. They're... full body animations!

Face Overlays are slapped onto your face when your mood changes. I'm personally fine with most of the face overlays, I just don't like the weird "Happy" smiles. Removing absolutely all of them or replacing them all with the "Neutral" face overlay I think makes sims too "life-less", though there are mods out there that do it and I can also do it.

We can remove or replace any animation we don't like. Removing them completely without replacing requires an Animation State Machine (ASM) override, which I can do because AnimXGenWear taught me how to modify ASMs, but for things like this, I prefer doing these little animation overrides and just replacing one animation with another.

Here's a list of the animation overrides I've done so far.

There are currently FIVE (5).

• This replaces the male Attempt to Seduce animation with the female animation for male sims.

4️⃣ sej_AnimOvrd_BG_YF_AttemptToSeduce_M

• This replaces the female Attempt to Seduce animation with the male animation for female sims.

3️⃣ sej_AnimOvrd_BG_YU_HappyFace_ConfidentFace

• This is a Face Overlay override. It replaces the face overlays for "Happy" and "Flirty" mood with the "Confident" mood overlay because the overlay used for Happy and Flirty has the same fugly grin. Confident gives you get a cheeky raised eyebrow instead. Is fine.
