⋆⋅ I SHARED MY FIRST MOD FOR TS4 ON SEP. 5, 2022:
It was my Body Hair override that removes the infected chicken scratches from randomizing onto anysim. Boy, oh boy, did I take flack for that in Reddit downvotes. Either folks really like those things or they're really defensive about body hair which is like... I've been mocked for my body hair so I get it, but also 🤫 the TS4 body hair looks like infected chicken scratches, yo! Don't hate the player, hate the game! 😹 One of these days I will sit down with Luumia's body hair CC and make a replacement override. There are third-party mods that utilize it for standalone CC but I want a replacement override. It could also be that they thought I stole Sims4Me's body hair overrides if they were available back then with their version of the "Goodbye Clownies!" mod or... <queue sarcastic tone> it can't possibly be my Male/Feminine Frame sim, can it? Don't hate the sim, hate the game! 😹 I digress!

The internet issue was and still is a big part of it, as apparent by the fact I'm still 💀.

When EAxis broke our bodies I saw an opportunity to both help the community and get some exposure so I stopped procrastinating and got my butt on Tumblr (the account was actually made MONTHS prior).

I couldn't actually benefit from having paid Patrons right now even if I had paid Patrons, which is why I was concerned when Patreon and Apple pulled their stunt, because I wasn't sure what was happening to the free membership. I'm still not 100% sure but I've delayed whatever nonsense they're doing til the latest date possible before they force me onto their new Apple shit, which is December 2025... or at least I think I did.
Anyway! Even when I finally do, the things I do will always be freely available. AnimXGenWear is my pride and joy and I wouldn't even put that behind an Early Access paywall. Not to mention it would be insulting to Meep62.
Once upon a time, I said on my About page (which Patreon brilliantly hides behind a tab), that if I ever did something groundbreaking I might EA i- <GAGS> EARLY ACCESS it, but, eh, why bother - but also never say never.
⋆⋅ I JOINED SIMS FILE SHARE FOR TWO REASONS:
1️⃣ I see Sim File Share as a kind of badge of honor since you need to request to be on SFS.
2️⃣ I needed download statistics for motivation. I needed to know I wasn't just wasting my time and that at least someone found what I'm doing useful.
I prefer the ease of Google Drive though, and with SFS throwing those upload errors recently I'm considering dusting off my Google Drive and sharing my stuff on both as I move forward.
⋆⋅ I KNOW THERE'S AN ISSUE WITH CURSEFORGE:
Whatever your personal views on CF and current events might be, I understand there's an issue with CF. I'm not oblivious.
Personally, I had concerns about the Sims 4 community being on CF before current events.
There was my concern about malware after the attack on Minecraft because I knew our TS4SCRIPT mods could be used maliciously - which eventually happened in February 2024 - and before that it was just the fact that few of us were happy when Overwolf acquired CF years ago.
My CF account is 5 years, 1 month, and 5 days old as of today, but I've used CF for longer because once upon a time I played World of Warcraft.
CF was never a great website but a lot of us saw OW as bloatware and adware.
I remain on CF because EA continues to endorse CF, and almost everything I do where TS4 is concerned is in protest of EA and EAxis and the way they're handling the Sims franchise.
I assume a lot of CF simmers might not be aware of the issue with CF, but they are experiencing the same game issues, and my descriptions are worded similarly everywhere:

Above that first line was a Malware warning.
While our community was content with notifying each other about what could've been a disaster over Discord and complaining about "old information" being shared outside of, again, Discord, I was maintaining a Malware post on Reddit - https://new.reddit.com/r/Sims4/comments/1akzieh/ - that eventually reached at least 100,000 simmers, and I was modifying the descriptions of my mods and my profile signatures everywhere to include a Malware warning in an attempt to ensure simmers were aware of what was happening.
It's still in my older descriptions and I might very well add it back to my new descriptions after I've done some spring cleaning on the Reddit post because the threat is always there and a little awareness never hurt anyone:

It was also done in protest of both EAxis not bothering to notify anyone apart from a sticky post on AHQ when they can bombard us with popup ads on the Main Menu and not one affected third-party website bothering to say anything publicly outside of Discord or bothering to throw up any website banners to notify anyone of anything outside of Discord, that I saw anyway, though to be fair to them, I eventually gave up checking.
This is me, and this is why I remain on CF. I hope that makes sense.

Did you know that deep beneath our planet's surface there could be vast hidden oceans in the form of ringwoodite? Ringwoodite is a "mineral" that "stores water" and there's allegedly a ton of it under our planet's surface. That's the best layman's explanation I can give.
Scientists believe there's one to three times the water contained in all of the world's oceans down there.
Ringwoodite was first discovered in a meteorite in 1969, then was found again in a diamond that was spat out by a volcano like 10 years ago! Cool, right?
