🐱 Creator Poll - Do y'all want a Discord for mod support? ⚡ 9/30/2024 - This is gonna keep getting buried. 😹

Multiple choice is NOT enabled. I MESSED UP! I HATE PATREON! 😹

I expect SOMEONE to give me at least ONE poorly worded "piracy is bad" vote for the lulz!

What? I'm allowed to have some fun!

Anyway. I've been asked about it by a grand total of one person but I accept Discord is a thing that works (and is likely selling your data to shady third-parties) regardless how I feel about it.

────⋆⋅🌸 PER YOUR RESULTS:

I GOT A +1 NO! SO THAT'S IT! NO DISCORD! 😹

I'm kidding! I'm kidding. I'm totally kidding... I actually already made the server and I'm populating it with chat channels for my various mods, but I don't want to invest more time into it if we're never gonna use it.

I don't know much about Discord servers even though I've had a basic one for years that I created for my ill-fated World of Warcraft Classic guild, and I don't intent to put a ton of time learning Discord bots and those irritating little role buttons that never have any descriptions and it's like they expect us to just know which colored circle means "I like fish!" I'm not a Discord addict, dammit! (╯'□')╯︵ ┻━┻

I digress.

When I was asked about it, it was concerning the Happy At Home INI/FOMO Unlock instructions I left on Reddit. While my instructions are ALWAYS impeccable, we're not all computer savvy or comfortable fiddling with weird game files, nor do we all speak fluent English. I have nothing against providing assistance on Discord or anywhere else.

I just figured some folks might be more comfortable asking questions about things like my FOMO Unlock mods somewhere more "private"... though, there is that issue I read about some time ago with Discord users spying on other Discord users in other servers then retaliating against them in other, other servers. Can folks not just be nice and reasonable? 😹
