.:Mer Ways to Kiss! - Mermaid Mini-Mod:.

.:Fish Kisses are the Best Kisses~

∆•∆•∆•∆•∆

Happy Valentines day Simmers! In the festive spirit of love day I have a bite sized mod that will make your mermaids a bit more lovable <3

∆•∆•∆•∆•∆

.:Details~

THIS MOD REQUIRES THE XML INJECTOR BY SCUMBUMBO

This mod only adds 2 new interactions thus making it a Mini-Mod! The interaction will be available for your mermaid sims but will add buffs to other sims as well! It contains:

• Mermantic Kiss >> Makes the mermaid and the affected sim flirty

• Siren's Kiss >> Makes the affected sim dazed and causes them to pass out! The mermaid will either become energized or playful depending on if this is done in water or on land

The kissing interactions are set to show for sims with the occult_mermaid trait meaning it may work with other mods that feature other mercreatures so long as they have said trait. What comes to mind is SpinningPlumbob's Kelpies from their expanded mermaid mod or the Sirens from Zero's Sirens mod

.:How to Download

Just drop the package file into the mods folder. Please do not insert the Gameplay Spoilers Package into your mods folder. That zip just contains some additional screenshots of the buffs in game in case some of you wish to figure it out for yourselves :)

.:Change Log

.:∆LAST UPDATED May 23rd 2024∆:.

∆ Various code cleanup and autonomy tweaks

∆ Bugs

• Not game breaking but I've noticed the interaction takes slightly longer than usual to cancel and sometimes requires player input to cancel. If not, the interaction will not appear. It does not affect the gameplay/way the interactions play out

• Not a bug however it's worth noting that I've changed the cooldown of the Mermaid Kiss from Island Living to 0. Since these new interactions are clones and I didn't want them to have a cool down I edited the buff of the Mermaid Kiss which was the easiest way to do this

∆ Conflicts

• None Know

.:Special Thanks

SACRIFICIAL was a big help with this mod by helping me code the tranquilized buff so sims will exit the water and then faint so big thanks to them!
